I Love Cupcakes!

Good morning, dear friends!  Is this week flying by or what?  I can't believe it's Thursday already!  Finally you are seeing one of my layouts with photos in it!   I told you I do scrap for me every once in a while!

This is my precious granddaughter Madison Rose, who turned a year old last August.

The bib that she wore for the "Cake Smash" had an adorable cupcake on it, as well.

Her piñata was a cupcake too!

Here's another layout with cupcakes.

Have a fabulous, blessed and sweet "cupcakie" day!

Happy Wednesday!

Good morning!  Have you seen the new collection from Authentique called "Renew"?  It is soooo pretty!  I got a chance to play with it last Sunday while I was at ESS and this is the layout I made. This photo just doesn't do justice to the beautiful colors! It's all blues and yellows.  The name "Renew" is perfect for this collection.

I cut out all the flourishes for the layout from this paper.  Do you see what I mean about the colors?

I also played with a collection from Kaisercraft called "Sears and Sons". The camera, typewriter and car are cut out of chipboard using Tim Holtz Sizzix dies.  They are then painted, distressed and embellished.

I got a chance to play with the new Art Anthology paints. They are FABULOUS!!!  Just look at the texture and sheen!

Thank you for stopping by!  Have a fabulous, fun and blessed day!

Girlfriends Times Two!

Good morning!  Today's two layouts have the same title but they are completely different.  The reason that I made two layouts is because I had "a little bit of this and a little bit of that" and two "Girlfriends" titles.

I used Webster papers for this one. I am crazy about clocks, so I loved playing with this collection. I also used Tim Holtz' clock cut out of black paper to add a couple more.

I have amazing girlfriends all over the place, WAAAY more than two, thanks to the world of scrappin'!  I love you all!

Treasure your friends.  Send a note sealed with a kiss today.  Have a blessed and wonderful day!

Graphic 45 Calender

Good morning!  Hope you had a great weekend. I was in South Florida cropping with great friends since last Thursday. I am glad to be home!

Today's layouts are from the Graphic 45 "Place in Time" collection. I have designed January thru June so far.

This was a class that I taught at ESS yesterday.  Have a wonderful and blessed day.

Princess for a Day

Good morning!  Here's a fun layout I designed for Treasured Memories.  It's a compilation of Disney princesses down through the ages.  It's a perfect setting for pictures of your very special princess!  And I've even put a circular mat for a cameo portrait of that special one.

I know who my special princess is and I'm just trying to decide which photos I'm going to use!

Have a wonderful day and a safe and blessed weekend.

I'm Hungry!

Good morning!  Like it or not, eating (and enjoying each other's company while doing so)  is just a part of life.  Many might say that it's the best part of life!

Here's a layout I made recently for pictures that you have from a pizza party.

This second layout is one that I made recently for Treasured Memories.  It seems to me that the kitchen is the biggest gathering place in the house, so why not scrap your photos from there?

Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Sisters, friends

Good morning! Are these ladies fashionable or what? They were cut out with the Forever Young Cricut Cartridge.  This is another fun page I designed for Treasured Memories

Steve recently made a video for Paper Niche explaining how to crop pictures in a circle for layouts just like this. Here it is.

Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Moments and Memories

Good morning! Hope you are having a great week so far. As you can see, I keep scrappin' my heart out! These fabulous papers and note cards are from Kaisercraft. They have the chipboard pieces (flowers and leaves) to match the papers.

These clocks are from Maya Road.

I designed both layouts for Treasured Memories in Lafayette, LA. Thank you for visiting my blog! Enjoy your day filled with the joy and the blessings of the Lord upon your life.

Journey

Good morning! Hope you had a great and fun weekend. This layout is very appropriate for me today!  I just got home from a 12-day journey and in two days I'll be heading off on a new 5-day adventure to South Florida.  Fortunately, I won't be traveling in this old jalopy!!!(ha, ha, ha).

I used a lot of vintage "old-times" embellishments and just a very few flowers and butterflies, not wanting to take away from the masculine look of this layout.  This was another layout I designed for Treasured Memories last weekend.
Have a wonderful and blessed day!

January

Good morning and happy Friday! Today's layout is full of banners. The ones on the left are from the Pretty Pennants Cricut Cartrdige and the ones on the top are cut out with a Stampin'Up! Punch. The papers are from Webster, Basic Grey and Authentique, three amazing companies.

Thank you for stopping by. Have a great and blessed weekend!

Home Together

Good morning!  Here is a layout that I made with three of my most favorite things: pinks, flowers & banners!

Here are two fun pictures with Madison and Andrew in Lafayette. It has rained non stop for 8 days so last night it was clear and we finally got out to feed the ducks.

This one is my daughter with the two g-kids, looking at the iPhone.  They're probably looking at Manamana or The Lion Sleeps Tonight.

Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Easter Layouts

Good morning!  Easter is only 10 weeks away.  For scrapping, it's one of my most favorite holidays.  I just love the colors, the flowers, the bunnies and the eggs.  Here's a layout I designed this past weekend at Treasured Memories.

Here's one I made last week in Florida.

I've been in Louisiana for a week now and I'm still waiting for the rain to stop.  Oh well, maybe I'll need to get back to the Sunshine State for that to happen.  Have a wonderful and blessed day.

Valentine's Day Layouts

Good morning!  Valentine's Day is a month away, but I'm already starting to get inspired.  This first layout is one that I designed for Treasured Memories this past weekend.

And this next one is one that I made for myself a week ago.

I'm still enjoying my time with my grandchildren in Lafayette, Louisiana.  Have a wonderful and blessed day.

Three More Christmas Layouts!

Good morning!  I just finished an amazing weekend crop at Treasured Memories in Lafayette, Louisiana! A very special thanks to Janet and all of her staff for putting together such a great event.  The fellowship among the ladies in attendance was second to none.  What a wonderful, wonderful time that was had by all.

I designed 16 layouts for Treasured Memories this weekend.  These first two are of a Christmas theme.

This third one is a layout that I designed for a friend before I left Gainesville last week.
I want everyone to have an amazing and blessed week.  I know that I will in Louisiana spoiling both of my grandchildren mercilessly!

Good Times!

Good morning!  Don't  you just love Authentique Papers?  This collection is called Uncommon.  The colors are very rich and elegant.  This layout is one that I designed for Paper Niche.

The flowers in the layout come from this 12 x 12 sheet (Unique from the Uncommon collection).  I cut out the large flower clusters and the small ones, as well.

I then used pop-up dots to give them more dimension.

I used Artiste Cricut cartridge to cut out the bow.  The center of the bow is an old earring I bought in an antique shop over the summer.  I took the back off and glued it right on the center.  The bow looks so elegant.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a wonderful, fun and blessed weekend!

"Cherish" is the Word

Good morning!  As you can see, I am into angels this week.  This is another layout I made using these pretty angels.

The branch is actually a Christmas ornament I found at Hobby Lobby.  I just accented some paper flowers and added them.

The word "Cherish" is made out of wood veneer.  I inked it in brown and then used Cinnamon Stickles to brighten it up a bit.

Have a wonderful and blessed day!

I love angels!

Happy Wednesday! Hope you are all having a great week so far. My daughter, baby Andrew and I are on our way to Lafayette, Louisiana today. We will be visiting my son and I will also be working the  "Crop with Bea" Event at Treasured Memories this coming weekend.  I am so excited to see Madison, my granddaughter. Andrew and Madison are only 4 months apart. I know they will have a very good time playing together.

This is a layout I designed for Paper Niche last month. These pretty angels were from a Christmas Card my MIL sent me last year.

Look how cute they are! I used pop up dots and Diamond Stickles on their halos and dresses.

Thank you for visiting my blog. Have a fabulous and blessed day!

More Christmas Inspiration

Good morning!  Yesterday was my grandson's birthday and today is my dear hubby's.  I won't say how old he is but one thing I will tell you; he might be aging but his humor and his energy to play with the grandchildren are increasing by the minute!!!  If you want to brighten your day and increase your scrapbooking knowledge check out his videos every Tuesday at the Paper Niche blog.

Here are some more Christmas layouts I designed recently. I love these colors! Nothing like red and green together for Christmas pictures.

Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Andrew is ONE!

Good morning!  Today is Andrew's first birthday.  A year ago we were all excited awaiting his arrival. Yesterday, we celebrated his birthday with a Safari theme party at a local park here in Gainesville, Florida.

Here is the proud family arriving at the party.

We decorated a pavilion with "animal hide" balloons, crêpe paper and signs.

You might recognize these Cricut character cutouts!
Animal Kingdom Cricut Cartridge was in full swing the week before.

Or these ones, embellished with jungle leaves.

Here are the adoring grandparents.  (Check out "Jungle Steve's" zebra bandana!)
This centerpiece is made with animals cut out on the Cricut machine

A quick costume change and Andrew is ready to blow out his first candle!

Here's the 4-layer jungle cake, specially designed and made by Andrew's mommy.

Andrew's mommy pretending to be a lion.  Just look at those fierce teeth!

We had chili, potatoes on the grill and all the fixin's.  Perfect for the cool weather.

The two piñatas, the elephant for the babies and the zebra for the older kids.
They seem so happy right now.  They have no idea of what's in store for them.

Will somebody please call the ASPCA or PETA right away!!!

"OK, it's my turn now!"

We had very "fashionable" guests!

"Jungle Steve" takes the kids on a "Bear Hunt", a tradition handed down from his father.

My sister, Andi,  with a completely worn out Andrew.

"A-weema-wey, a-weema-wey ... the lion sleeps tonight"

Thank you for sharing Andrew's first year with us. Have a wonderful and blessed day!
