This is a K&Company paper that comes in a pack. The colors are so pretty even though I would have never put them together! (you know what I mean?) I had fun cutting them and popping them up. I used my cricut machine (Accent Essentials) to cut the shape of the papers underneath my photo.

I'm addicted to canvas books!
I think I am addicted to making canvas books! So many ideas... so many products... so much time in my hands! I made this one a little different... I used lots of chipboard which I embossed and I also used Crackle Accents. I also made a 5 x 7 accordion mini album to fit inside my canvas. The sun is made out of two buttons and lots of ribbons to make the rays. The flying birds are made with one of the Martha Stewart's fabulous punches. The trees and clouds are Maya Road and Basic Grey chipboard.

Canvas Book 8 X 10
I made another Canvas set 8 x 10. I made the 5 x 7 mini album for the inside using Accent Essentials Cricut Cartridge. I cut the paper in three different sizes and layer each page. It turned out very elegant.

Good old embossing powder
I played with clear embossing powder today. I painted the chipboard first. Then I embossed each letter 3 times with clear embossing powder. While the third layer was still wet I stamped them. Once they were dried I added some copper ink to the stamped flowers. It took a while but the result is cool! Then I added pearls, flowers and embellished with metal findings. Oh... this is Donna Downey, I met her in March at Treasured Memories in Lafayette, La. She is very, very sweet.
