"Stuck on Us Sketches" Friday Challenge on Feb. 4

Good morning! This week we have a great sketch challenge sponsored by Scrapbooks etc. at Stuck On Us Sketches.

I used the fabulous collection from October Afternoon called Modern Homemaker.

As you know, my promise is still standing regarding scrappin' one-pagers so here is the complete layout. I had so much fun playing with these papers!  I had a luncheon for my scrappin' friends during Christmas and I wanted to reflect on my page how much I love them and how happy I was to have them in my home.

What's a living room without a heart/love banner?

Check out the mouse and the mousetrap up in the attic! They are for doll houses but they also work in my pages!!!! (anything goes, right?).

Don't forget to visit  http://stuckonusketches.blogspot.com/ so you can see the other design team pages, they are all fabulous!

Hobby Lobby opened its doors today in Dothan.... guess who was one of the first ones to go in??????

Welcome Hobby Lobby!!!!! We love you!!!!! This is Jeff, the manager.

Flower girls in the middle of the store!!!!!

Hasta manana amigos! Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Another baby page....

Good morning! Here is another page for my future grand-baby. I used October Afternoon papers and added the trees and deers cut out with the cricut.

I popped  the leaves and then added some crackled accents. I also used a white gel pen to outline most of the pieces.

For those of you going through storms, my prayers are with you. Take care and be safe.

Happy Wednesday!

Good morning! I hope is all well with all of you who are going through the winter storm. We are getting lots of rain and strong winds. (I sound like the weather channel, right?). Okay... here is my layout today dedicated to my daughter Valerie and her best friends Michelle and Melanie.

I mixed and matched flowers, papers and textures.

Have a fabulous and blessed day!

Paper Niche's February kit

Happy February! Today Paper Niche reveals its February kit and I get to post what I designed exclusively for them! I used Basic Grey Curio papers and literally took them apart. Those flowers are so beautiful I wanted to show them all! I stickled them in different colors.

These are chipboard letters which I painted, embossed with clear embossing powder, then embossed them with the cuttlebug  and then painted them again. The effect is really cool, love the dimension and texture. I also used Martha Stewart heart punch.

I also used other papers from the BG Curio collection and literally took apart every flower you see in this layout and put them back together. There are 4 different papers with flowers here.

I also made this page for a shadow box. I was wearing a "scrapbooking girl  t-shirt" and was holding one of my tags so I wanted to reflect what I was doing on my layout.

You can see more details here:

I also made a 6 x 6  20-page album using all my scraps and more tags and embellishments. For the front I used the wrapper of some BG embellishments.

Believe it or not, I also made this layout with the same kit! These pictures are very special to me because this was Christmas day and as we entered Epcot we received Danny and Lexie's call telling us they were expecting a baby! We spent the entire day on the phone talking to them and calling family and friends with the good news. What a Christmas day we had!

I am not kidding you... this kit is just fabulous and I was amazed of how much stuff  it brings. Make sure you stop by Paper Niche's blog so you can see what the rest of the team have created. Again, thank you for stopping by and for all the sweet comments you leave, they all touch my heart deeply. Luv ya!
