Happy Thursday

Good morning!  I made this layout using the Gabrielle Bo Bunny collection.  The photos here do not do justice to the background paper.  You can see it better in some of the close-ups.

I found the feathers in a clearance bin at the store.  They were too beautiful to pass up so I bought them all! I made all of the flowers with some new punches I have.

I just love how the light blues and muted browns blend together.  And what would a layout be without some bling and matching flourishes?

Have a great and blessed day!!!

Happy Wednesday!

Good morning! Well,  I am on the road again and  today I am heading to Ft. Lauderdale. I visited my daughter in Gainesville last night and had a fabulous time shopping for baby clothes.

This layout was a lot of fun to make. I used the pretty Dutch Mustard Soup collection from Jillibean Soup.

All the hearts are popped up and they look so cute. These pictures were taken at my daughter in law's baby shower last month.

Please excuse me one more time for not leaving messages on your blogs but sometimes I do not have access to computers long enough to do so. Have a great and blessed day!

Happy Tuesday!

Good morning! My friend Deidre and I got together last week and played with all kinds of paints, textures, papers, and machines. This is what we made, a layout which has a little bit of everything!

I learned this beautiful idea/technique from Wendy  at Treasured Memories in Lafayette, LA last week.  Don't you just love it? I used glitter paper and MS punch.

This is a heart made out of chipboard which I embossed with the cuttlebug and then added the metal wire, another piece of chipboard and embellishments.

Have a great and blessed day!

Scrapbook Roadtrip!

Good morning!  Getting to the Treasured Memories Mega-Crop in Lafayette, Louisiana was half the fun.  We took what would normally be a 7 hour trip and made it in 14 hours!!!

Our first stop was at A Scrap in Time scrapbook store in Crestview, Florida.  They opened early just for us.  They had prepared wonderful goody bags for us filled with stickles, ribbons, embellishments, etc.  Thank you Lisa & Marcy for a terrific welcome! Your store is amazing!

Melanie texted this picture to my husband.  He never called back to say that it wasn't him, so I took that as an "OK" to get whatever I wanted!

Our second stop was at Scrapping Frenzy in Mobile, Alabama. Another fabulous store filled with great products.

Scrapping Frenzy is having a Scrapbook Convention on September 15-17.  You can visit their website at www.scrappingfrenzy.com and sign up. Register before August 1, 2011 and get a special "goodie" in your registration packet!  Donna Salazar will be one of their guest teachers and so will I.  I can't wait to embark on another great adventure!

The following morning on our way to the Mega-Crop, all dressed up in our "Bea Hive" outfits, we visited Create 365 scrapbook store in Scott, Louisiana. Another fabulous place! Thank you Amy for our "Bee goody bags", we loved them!!!

Isn't this just fabulous?  I want one of these arrangements for my scrapbook room!
