Highlights of Treasured Memories Summer Crop

Good morning! This is Treasured Memories annual cropping event  in Rayne, Louisiana that I was telling y'all about. It was an amazing weekend! It was held at the Rayne Convention Center. We were over 250 women under one roof for four entire days.

 

 

TM moved the store (almost!) to the center. It was beautiful! The staff was very friendly, loving and helpful. There was another vendor on site from the Gulf Shores area, Gigi's Scrapbook Store.

 

These are the awesome girls that work for TM. They looked so cute dressed like the 50's!

These are the T-shirts that everyone got. These are my friends who went with me (BEA'S HIVE)

 

Everyone got a record with their name on it. This was the make and take and they even had a song written for the event!!!

 

They also offered some amazing classes. This was one of them.

 

One of the highlights of the event were the Scrapbook Kits. I designed 42  layouts on the spot which were made into kits! In addition, TM have a kit booth with kits designed by  Janet, Connie and me. The booth was a huge hit, everyone loved it.

There were Layout Contest, Dress Contests, Prizes,  etc., etc., etc.... and the list goes on!!! Treasured Memories plan to have two events next year (last two weekends of July) because their waiting list was almost as long as the attendees! Their registration opens in January and it fills up within one day.  If you love scrapbooking crops, this is one you do not want to miss. There were people from all over the country. I can't wait myself till the next one... and yes, I will be at both weekends, the Lord willing.

Layouts for Everything Scrapbook & Stamps

Good morning!  Hope your week is going great so far.  I have been busy with Andrew and Carolina at the pool. Carolina floats all by herself!  She just turned 6 months old on the 22nd.  I have to share a video soon, it is soooo cute to watch a baby that small float!  They are both very tan and so am I!

 These are the layouts I designed for ESS last Saturday.  They all sold pretty fast!  The papers are the new collections from We R Memories, Authentique and Heidi Swapp.

Mixed Media Art Journal

Good morning!  This past weekend I was at Everything Scrapbook & Stamps in Lake Worth, Florida.  On Saturday morning I took a class on Mixed Media.  Here I am with Michelle, the owner of ESS and a terrific teacher on mixed media.  Here I am showing off my base page.

Good morning! Hope you had a great weekend.  I spent mine in Ft. Lauderdale with family and also had the chance to take a class (Mixed Media Art Journaling), teach and crop at ESS (Everything Scrapbook and Stamps) in Lake worth.  I will post pictures later on this week.

Good morning and happy Monday!  Well, the Treasured Memories event is over and what a great time we all had!  Here's The Hive all dressed up in our 50's attire at the local malt shop.  Don't we look spectacular?

With Summer in full swing, I've been inspired to make some vacation layouts.  These three here have an ocean theme; for either spending your vacation on it or next to it.

Steampunk

Good morning!  Yesterday was the first day of Treasured Memories' Rayne Event Mega Crop!  We cropped all day until midnight.  This morning at 9:00 we're going to do it all over again!

This is a layout that I made by request.  At the time I had no idea what "steampunk" was and I'm still not completely sure.  The best I can describe is that it's a combination of vintage and future.

Frozen

Good morning!  Well, we made it to Louisiana and we're having a great time.  Last night we went out for Cajun food at a very popular local restaurant.  The food was absolutely delicious (although a bit spicy for me).

I've gotten many requests to make layouts with the theme from this very popular movie.  Here is one of several that I have made.

Sugar and Spice....

Good morning!  I am on my way to Louisiana to participate in the Treasured Memories annual Rayne Event.  I am excited beyond words!

Elegant Layouts

Good morning and happy Friday! Here are a couple of layouts with an "elegant" flair.  In the first one the dolls are dressed up in their finest clothes. The girl doll is from Prima and the boy doll is from C- Thru the Woods.

 

I made this layout for a dear friend and I actually had a lot of  much fun using her stash!

Blah blah blah

Good morning!  I have a dear friend who LOVES to say "blah blah blah" when you ask how her health is.  This is so cute and so "her" that I was inspired to make a few layouts with this title! The dolls in the first layout are stamped with Julie Nutting's stamps. The dolls in the second one are free-handed using great papers.
