Cowboys (and Girls)

Good morning!  Do you remember the song "Mamas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys"?  Well, for those of you who didn't follow mama's advice, here are a couple of layouts, one for cowboys and one for cowgirls!

Hope that you enjoyed these layouts.  Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a safe and blessed weekend!

Sewing

Good morning!  Have you seen the new Bo Bunny collection called Pincushion?  It is sooo cute!  I added the dress form, flowers and some sewing wooden embellishments and voila!  Love the color scheme as well.

For those of you inquiring about my surgery, I actually had four at once!  I had carpal tunnel (both wrists) and cubital tunnel (both elbows) surgery.  I am doing great and feeling better by the minute, especially when I take my "happy" pills.  The funny thing is that they recommend to start using my hand at once!  Am I blessed or what?

I will be at A Scrap In Time in Crestview this weekend and at Treasured Memories in Lafayette the following.  If you happen to see me, do not be shocked to see my "mummy" bandages. I really am OKAY!!!!  Especially after babies Carolina and Andrew have worked so hard in taking care of me.... (ha, ha, ha).

Have a wonderful and blessed Thursday!

Disney Layouts

Good morning!  Here are a couple of layouts I made with a Disney theme.  I hope you enjoy them.

I had some surgery on my wrists and elbows yesterday.  Fortunately, Dr. Andrew and his nurse assistant Carolina made a house call with their Fisher-Price doctor kit .  Under their care I am sure to be up and back in the scrapbook studio in no time!

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Dolls and More Dolls!

Good morning! Here are some more layouts showcasing the fabulous Julie Nutting doll stamps. Properly attired, they go well with most any theme.

This layout is dedicated to a special friend who is a breast cancer survivor.

Sunny Florida!

Happy Monday dear friends!  Hope you had a lovely weekend.  I spent mine in beautiful and WARM South Florida.  We got a chance to go to the beach for a little while and Andrew and Carolina enjoyed the warm sun.  Andrew was totally fearless with the waves and just wanted to get into the surf.  His mommy had to hold his hand very, very tight, lest he try to "catch a wave" and "hang ten"!  Cowabunga, dude!

Carolina Beatriz enjoyed sunbathing.

I spend a beautiful Saturday at Everything Scrapbook and Stamps in Lake Worth.  I taught a class in the morning and then cropped until we dropped! (We stopped at midnight). These are the layouts I designed during the crop for the store using their new collections.

Remember that this is the day the Lord has made just for you!  Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Princess

Good morning!  Here is a layout I made with three Disney characters.  The castle is cut on the Cricut.  I love the paper in the photo mats.  It's almost a shame that they'll be covered up by photos.

I'm in South Florida this weekend.  I'll be teaching a class at Everything Scrapbook and Stamps on Saturday.  Here's the layout we'll be doing.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a safe and blessed weekend.

Happy Thursday!

Good morning!  Well, we are back to wearing shorts since Tuesday afternoon.  Let's see how long this heat wave lasts!  Crazy weather for sure.

I made this layout for a special friend's daughter who was going to a Father-Daughter dance at their church.  I matched the color scheme as well as the title to that of the dance.

I had so much fun making this layout.  I wanted to fold the section of pleated paper along the bottom, but for my life I could not get the pleats to come out even.  I ended up cheating a little bit.  I cut out small rectangles, folded them in half and layered them to make it look like a ruffle.  I know that it was a lot more work, but I am very pleased how it came out.

I posted 10 new kits last night. Check them out on the KITS tab above.

Thank you for stopping by and for all of you who still leave comments daily. Have a fabulous, loving and blessed day!

Happy!

Good morning! Hop your week is going great so far. I love the wood background. You can do almost anything with it and everything pops, specially when you add bright colors. These papers are from My Mind's Eye. The hexagons are made with the new Fiskars punches.

Thank you for stopping by! Have a fabulous and blessed Wednesday!

Disney!

Good morning!  What's even better than a vacation to Disneyland or Disney World?  Some terrific layouts to scrap your photos!

Here's one layout I made for just that occasion.  This papers are from Simple Stories and the tickets at the bottom are cut in the Silhouette.

Dad and Grandma

Good morning!  I hope that you all had a great weekend.  I spent mine in Alabama scrapping with some dear friends.  Here are a couple of layouts I made that have a family member theme.

I had a lot of fun making this first one.  I used the Silhouette to cut out the ladder and the Cricut to cut out some of the tools.

Since I am the Grandma of three precious babies, making layouts with this title makes me happy even though none of them actually call me "Grandma".  The two that talk each have unique names for the both of us.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Enjoy Presidents Day and have a wonderful and blessed week.

Love is Sweet!

Happy Thursday! With Valentine's Day just around the corner I thought I'd share more "love" layouts.

Here's a close up of the papers and hearts.

Here is a wedding layout.  What could be more loving than that?

I will be spending this weekend in Alabama with some precious friends scrapbooking 'til we drop!  Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Prima Chalkboard Papers

Good morning!  Here are three layouts that I made using the Prima line of Chalkboard Papers.  They were introduced last Summer at the CHA and have become very popular in the months since.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a blessed day and enjoy the second half of your week!

Hunting and Fishing

Good morning!  Here are some super-manly hunting and fishing layouts I made recently.  And as difficult as it was to do, I actually did not use one single flower, not even a camouflage carnation nor a duck blind daffodil!

Here's a photo of our son back from a hunting expedition this year.  It would make the Robertson family proud!

Happy Monday!

Good morning!  Hope you had a lovely weekend.  Here are a couple of layouts I made over the weekend.  They're fun and bright.  I keep finding creative ways to dress the Julie Nutting dolls.  The top is three layers of lace and the skirt is two layers of ribbon.

On this one I split the large pink flower in two and used each half on a page.

I was babysitting my grandchildren Sunday afternoon.  Andrew decided that his baby sister might need some toys when she wakes up so he gave her some!  The Shrek doll is one of his favorites!

Black and White Layout

Happy Friday!  Today's layout is a very fancy one with an elegant Julie Nutting doll all dressed up! (She was actually designed by my dear friend Melanie.)  It's very hard to see in this picture, but the papers and doilies are all glittered.

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog, I never ever take it for granted. Have a wonderful and blessed weekend!

Beach Layouts Already???

Good morning!  I know it's only the beginning of February, but this weather feels like summer this week!  Last week we were wearing coats, boots and hats and this week we are literally wearing shorts!  CRAZY... LOCO!!!!!

These are some of the layouts I've made recently related to summer, beach and cruise.

Hope you have enjoyed them. Have a fabulous, safe and blessed Thursday!

Celebrate Life!

Good morning and happy Tuesday!  I am in love with this Prima Chalkboard Collection called The Optimist.

I also used a Blue Fern Studio chipboard frame which I inked green.  Here is a close-up.

When I made this layout with this title, this verse came to mind; You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.  Psalm 16:11. Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Sweet Dreams!

Good morning!  Here is a kit that I made for Treasured Memories the last time I was there.  The papers are from Kaisercraft.  I especially love the little angels floating around in the clouds and the old-fashioned "man in the moon" watching over them.

Here are a couple of my "little angels".  This photo was taken at the hospital 2 weeks ago.  I absolutely know without a doubt who's watching over them!

Happy Monday!

Good morning and welcome to February! Hope you had a lovely weekend.  I am sharing more layouts I've created inspired by Julie Nutting's dolls. I should be getting the new collection in about two weeks and they are fabulous!
