Paper Moon Celebrated my birthday today!

My "Paper Moon"  friends celebrated my birthday today at the store because I will be in Ft. Lauderdale next Saturday, August 7th, my real date.  My husband made the cupcakes and Amanda decorated them with beautiful homemade sugar flowers. She made me a rose and the rest were daisies.  They were delicious! Here are some fun pictures.

These are the 5 Jone's boys, Melanie and her talented daughter Hayden.

Baby LT had so much fun eating the toppings!!!!! What a blessing it is to be surrounded by so much love. Thank you "Paper Moon"  for your love and friendship! There's nothing like  your "scrapbooking family"...

Summer pages using BoBunny papers

Happy Friday everyone! Another beautiful day in sunny Alabama.....I've been playing with BoBunny papers and have been enjoying the bright colors, they are perfect for summer scrappin'! These pictures are of Danny and Lexie relaxing in New Hampshire.

This layout is posted at Paper Moon. I had the perfect pictures for it. Steve and I went to a Luau dinner last week and were wearing very colorful outfits! I am submitting it at Stuck on Us Sketches Challenge this week which is a Summer page. Click on the picture so you see the details in it.

The pineapple and the lime are made out of felt.

I used Olivia papers from BG for this page. I also used crystal accents all around the frame and Prima rhinestones to emphasize Steve's face.

This is my precious friend Hayden. She can sit and play with her mother and I all day long! She loves to "hide" her projects until they are TOTALLY done and then show them to us. She is into chipboard dogs this week and this is what she has made..... yes, she is amazingly talented! The doggies have purses, high heels, hats and the details in each one of them are gorgeous! She is as sweet in person as she looks in pictures....

This young man is Drew, 7 years old, and he is Autumn's son (the owner of Paper Moon). He wanted me to teach him how to scrapbook and so I did! He made a two-page layout for his pictures from his Hawaii trip last month. He cut, painted and glued and he smiled the entire time!!!! Yes, I think I got him hooked too.....

Remember... this is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and BE GLAD in it!!!! Happy day!!!

Happy Tuesday!

Liz Qualman's sketch is beautiful! It was perfect for this picture of  Danny and  Nemo at  the Tampa's Seaquarium. Instead of butterflies I used fishes. And I used my rustic mesh again!

This is another layout I did with my son's wedding pictures. I called it "From my heart to yours". He sent  a present (diamond earrings), flowers and a card to his "bride-to-be" which were delivered by his best man and best friend Buddy Glass.  I used Webster pages, Tim Holtz' metal keys and Prima flowers.

Coffee anyone?

Happy Monday! It's E.A.D. designs Blog Hop again and this is my last Monday as a guest designer.

If you are following this blog hop, you must be coming from Jenny's blog.

Today I made this page using their fabulous Stickerz called "Coffee Addiction". I kept my page simple so the photo and the Stickerz would stand out.

I used netting, cardboard for the matting of the photo and  I also used the crimper for the scalloped circles to add dimension. Remember those annoying mini brads?  I used 3  in each circle!!!! That took a lot of patient but they look great.

Make sure to head on over to Jenn's  blog next, and when you are done hopping go back to the EAD Design Blog to enter for your chance to win a prize.

Scrappin' Saturday with awesome friends

It's been a fun day scrapbooking with friends at Paper Moon. We are starting to dress alike!!!!!!!

Here are some of the pages I've made. This first one is a Baseball one featuring my son Danny in action.

This next one is of baby LT with his "ball". What do you do when you have a bunch of pictures that look alike? Line them up!!!!!!

This next layout is of my son's wedding (yes, still his wedding.... and I have over 100 pictures to go!!!!). I used Basic Grey's new line called Olivia. I really did not have a place for my title so I decided to put it right on the picture and I loved it.

I scraplifted this next layout from Karen. I love how she played with Prima and Webster papers and put them all together. I changed it a little here and there but it is basically the same as hers. Autumn cut out the blue papers with her Pazzles machine for us because we did not have Karen's template with us! It was a labor of love to get it just right. Thank you Autumn!

I am a Guest Designer at The Bug Bytes and my Peacock from French Manor Cartridge is featured. I must say it has been one of my favorite Cricut animals because the possibilities are endless of what you can do with it. Many of my friends  have being inspired by this page and made it and embellished it to match their colors and every single time he turns out adorable. Here he is again. I cut him size 10".

Blues and Greens together.

It's been a busy Tuesday but that did not keep me for playing a little. This is what I made today using one of my very favorite colors together:blues and greens. I also used cardboard and made the big circle out of chipboard.

This is a miniature ceramic angel and metal wings I found at a garage sale. They were perfect as embellishments.
