Happy Friday!

Good morning and happy Friday!  Hooray!  Another week in the bag!  I hope that yours went well.
Here are a couple of custom Easter layouts that I just finished.  One is for a little girl and one is for a little boy.

And here are my little boys and little girls on Easter.  This is Landon and Madison Rose.

And here are Carolina and Andrew with their Mom and Dad.

And here they are later in the day with my cousin and Carolina's Godmother from Venezuela.

Thanks for your visit today.  Have a wonderful and blessed day today and and safe and restful weekend!  See you on Monday!

Tick-Tock Tick-Tock

Good morning and happy Thursday!  I hope that your week is going well.

I love clocks.  I must have about 20 of them in my house.  Nothing fancy, mind you, but just many of them.  From where I am sitting now, I can see six!

And so it would stand to reason that I love to scrap with clocks.  They're one of my favorite. Here is a recent layout with a lot of clocks.

April Showers

Good morning and happy Wednesday!

You know, I've always liked the saying "April showers bring May flowers".  We're coming to the end of April so I'm getting ready for the promised May flowers.

Here are a couple of layouts featuring a rainbow, just like the perfect one we saw the other day when we cam out of the pet store.  It was breathtaking.

Special April

Good morning and Happy Tuesday!

Here is a layout that I made using two new dolls from Julie Nutting.  I absolutely love working with these dolls.  (I might actually have all of them.)

What is Life?

Good morning and happy Monday!  Welcome to another week. Here are a couple of layouts that I made recently contemplating "life", but in a whimsical sort of way.

What life really is about is being around those whom we love and knowing that they love us back.  Here is my granddaughter Carolina performing her daily routine of checking her appearance in the mirror after accessorizing and putting on "lipstick" and blush.

I had my DH put a wall mirror at floor level after he saw this picture and "busted" me for lifting her onto the counter.  I keep forgetting that I'm not supposed to lift things, but how could I refuse?

Boys Will Be Boys

Good morning and happy Friday!  I hope that your week has gone well and that you're ready for the weekend.

I'm still in the mood for making little boy layouts.  Here's an example that I call "Boys Will Be Boys"

Here Comes Trouble

Good morning and happy Wednesday!.  I hope that your week is going good so far.

As those of you who follow regularly know, I have been blessed with four grandchildren, two boys and two girls.  Here is a layout dedicated to the two boys.  Even though they're 3-1/2 years apart, they sure enjoy playing with each other.

Here is Andrew teasing his cousin Landon by making him wear a toy octopus on his head.

And here is Landon several hours later.  The joke is on Andrew because he actually likes the octoput "hat".

It's All About the Bling

Good morning and happy Tuesday!  I love this time of the year as we move into Prom season.  It's great to see the high school girls put away their ripped jeans for one night and get dressed up so elegantly.

I didn't go to Prom in high school because in my country it didn't exist.  My sister came to the States for her last two years of high school.  She got asked to the Prom by a couple of guys, but turned them both down because she really didn't know what Prom was.  A few days before Prom, she decided that she wanted to go, but no one was available.  That's when my DH stepped in and took her.  Aside from some of the teacher chaperones, he was the only 25 year old there!

Here's a layout that I made in honor of all of those Senior Prom's going on!

Fun in the Sun

Good morning and happy Monday!

Here is another summer layout that I've recently made featuring seahorses, one of my grandson's favorite animals.  He was so excited a couple of months ago when we went to visit our son and his family in Port Charlotte.  They were staying in a remodeled 50's era house that had decorative concrete seahorses built into the stucco walls!

Saddle Up!

Good morning and happy end of the work week!

Here is a new layout that I just finished.  The cowgirl is from Julie Nutting. I used here along with a tag that I got at The Flying Unicorn in Tallahassee several months ago.

                                             The poem reads:

The Cowgirl
Faces life head on,
Lives by her own
Lights and makes no
Excuses

Dying for Dies

Good morning and happy Wednesday.  I've been having a great time lately with dies of all kinds.  I love them because I can easily cut out intricate things such as the branches, windows, leaves and swirls in any type of paper.

Here are a couple of layouts that I've made that are loaded with die cut papers. I've also gone heavy on pinks and blacks because I love pink and black together.  It's such a classic color combo.

Create Day

Good morning and happy Tuesday!  Hope that you are doing well.

Here is a new layout that I made yesterday using Julie Nutting's new collection. The dolls are chipboard pieces. Sooo cute and girly.

And I had a special treat yesterday with a visit from all four of my grand children who love to create.  Here they all are in their toy room.

Then they all migrated to my studio because I have a much better selection of supplies than they do.   They are all so creative.  Even 7-month-old Landon gets into the act.  He can crumble and "slobber-distress" paper with the best of them!

Triple the Scraps

Good morning and happy Monday!  Welcome to another week.

I am so excited because I just won a fabulous mixed media journal made by Patter Cross!

Her blog is called Triple the Scraps.  Take a visit!

And here is a layout that I pieced together over the weekend.  I'm really in a summer kind of mood these days.

Butterfly Kisses

Good morning and happy Friday, the end of another week!

Here is a recent layout that I titled Butterfly Kisses.  Those who follow me know that one of my most favorite things to put onto a layout (after flowers) are butterflies.  They are so beautiful and delicate.  I absolutely love them.

Create 365 Happy Planner

Good morning and happy Thursday!

I recently got the Happy Planner page punch from Create 365.  What this punch does is make unique keyhole slots at the edge of your paper so that you can add your own creative pages to to an existing planner or create a complete new planner from scratch.

These are the expansion disks that you can get to either expand you planner or start from new.

I have been having fun making new planners to document my recent surgery.

Here are a couple of pages from this book

Coloring

Good morning and happy Monday, the start of another glorious week!  Since I've been laid up recovering from my surgery, I can't spend as much time in the studio as before (espceially since my DH chases me out of there and back to bed just when I'm getting warmed up).

What I can do is color pages while sitting up in bed.  I found a great web site that has many terrific pages to color.  It's called Bible Stories from the Heart and this link will take you right to the page where the pages are.

Here are just three of the pages that I've colored.

Holiday Layouts

Good morning and happy Friday!  Another week has come and gone.  Are you all ready for the weekend?  I know that I am.

One of my favorite subjects to scrap are family holidays.  With the right layout and the right photos, you'll have a priceless treasure for years to come where you can re-live the holiday.  Here are a couple of layouts I made for Treasured Memories.

This first one is about Independence Day.

And this one is about the most recent holiday, Easter.

Thanks once again for visitin my blog.  Have a wonderful and blessed day and a safe and restful weekend!
