Back to the Kitchen

Good morning!  Here are a couple of layouts inspired from the kitchen.  This first layout is called "Coffee Lover".  I decided to break up the browns that you would expect in a layout with this title with some nice bright  pinks.

And here's one I call "Baked with Love".  It's very rustic looking with a lot of distressed edges and just a "pinch" of green thrown in for good measure. I designed this layout for A Scrap In Time in Crestview, Florida.

Madison Rose tasted a corn dog for the first time in her life  at the Yankee Stadium in New York last night.

She told her mommy it was the best food she's ever had!!!! You can see the joy in her face!!!

Thanks for visiting!  Have a wonderful and blessed day!

School-Graduation

Good morning!  Hope you had a lovely weekend.  As we approach the month of May, another school year is coming to an end and, for many, it's graduation time!  I made these layouts thinking of those graduates.  This first one is very colorful.

This next one is more subdued with browns and black.  The paper that I used for the mats is shiny silvery paper.  For some reason the flash on my camera made them reflect a rainbow.  They look funny here but it's actually quite pretty.

Happy Friday!

Wow...this week went by soooo fast!  It sees like I find myself saying the same thing every Friday though.  Each one of my layouts today have birds even though they are all different for different occasions.

Have a wonderful, safe, fun and blessed weekend!

Happy Thursday!

Good morning!  Hope you are having a fabulous week so far.  Mine has been quite busy with babies. Carolina Bea turned three months already and she is trying to roll over, to lift her head up and to laugh all at the same time while big brother Andrew is trying to make her play with him! We have some great videos of the two of them.

This picture does not give justice to the colors and dimension of this layout.  I used kraft papers, white and different shades of aqua and olive green.  What a great color combo!  I'm in love with kraft papers again.

Thank you for stopping by. Have a wonderful and blessed day rejoicing in the goodness and love of  the Lord.

Family and Lovey-Dovey Peggy and Jerry

Good morning!  Here are a couple of layouts I made.  The first one uses some very nice blues and peaches and is titled "family".  I just can't seem to get enough banner flags lately.

And here is one made with blues and beige.  And in a departure from what you normally see on this blog, I've actually included photographs on this one.  This is my most super excellent friend Peggy and her absolutely terrific husband Jerry.  They're so cute together.  They look like a couple of teenagers!

Princess

Good morning! Hope you had a fabulous weekend. This is one of my favorite layouts to make since I have two princesses in my kingdom now!!!!

Madison Rose went to see Disney on Ice and it was all about Princesses. She was Princess Sofia.

She went to see Frozen and fell in love with Anna and Elsa. Mommy was able to find one of the customes and the doll for her!!!

Have a wonderful and blessed Monday!

Memories

Happy Friday!  Are you ready for Easter weekend?  I sure am!  What a glorious and joyful celebration we have in Jesus.  He reigns!  My family and I are traveling to Miami to meet our son whose team is playing the Marlins.  We can't wait to see him!!!

Regarding scrapbooking ... you can't go wrong with a title such as Memories. Isn't that what taking photos is all about?

Here's a photo of Andrew getting ready to color Easter eggs.  He had already put the little fizzy tablets into glasses of water and now appears to be saying "OK, that was gangs of fun.  Now, what???"

And here they are with some of the finished product.  (Note that Andrew has some winter jammies on today since it's been unseasonably cold.)

Be blessed, enjoy your weekend and come back and visit on Monday!

Easter Layout

Good morning!  I know this layout is not made with the conventional Easter paper, but I just love the chalkboard papers that are out there! I think the pictures will stand out great with the black background.

Madison Rose loved visiting the Easter Bunny and is looking forward  to going to an Easter egg hunt this weekend.

Happy Wednesday!

Good morning! Hope you are having a great week so far. Well, I made this layout and little did I know that it was going to be so well liked. Many of us have or have had pets whom we adore and how cool it is that we can scrap about them!  I used Julie Nutting's dolls stamps again. I love the little girl ones; they are adorable.

Little Boy Layouts

Good morning!  I always get requests for little boy layouts.  This first one is one of my kits from earlier this month.  It turned out to be very popular!

I made this layout for one of my friends.  This collection is from Creative Imaginations.  I absolutely love how the papers are embossed to look like a Lego block.  And the colors are so bright and vibrant.

Speaking of bright and vibrant, my daughter-in-law took Madison to Tulip Town, a beautiful seasonal attraction north of Seattle.  This is essentially a tulip bulb farm that is open to the public during the month of April when the flowers are in bloom.  Lexie says that words cannot describe the beauty of the place.

Madison Rose was like a butterfly enjoying the flowers.

She also wanted to smell each one of them.

There's nothing like God's creation....Matthew 6:28-29 says: See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet, I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.

Have a wonderful, happy and blessed day!

Girly Girl and a New Boy Stamp!

Good morning!  Hope you had a terrific weekend.

Here are two new layouts that I made with the same Julie Nutting doll, only dressed slightly different to match the colors of the layout.

And here's a layout made with a new boy stamp from a different designer.  His name is Andrew, just like my grandson.  I'm planning on combining him with Julie Nutting dolls in the very near future since they're all the same size.

Thanks for stopping by today to my blog.  Have a wonderful and blessed Monday.

St. Patrick's Day Revisited

Good morning! I've heard that we celebrate St. Patrick's Day here in the U.S. a lot more than in Ireland!  You see all the decorations, scrapbook papers and embellishments everywhere you go. They are all so cute!

So of course I had to make layouts about that special day, even if that's mostly in America, right? Well, here they are!

If you are Irish or just love the pot of gold and shamrocks you can make one of these for yourself! Have a wonderful, fun, safe and fabulous weekend! Come back Monday for more inspiration.

Strawberry Picking

Good morning!  Here's a layout that I made for some photos taken on a strawberry picking expedition with my daughter and grandbabies a few days ago.

The only problem is that I have six photos and left myself only five photo mats.  I may have to redo the layout because there's no way I want to leave out any of these photos!

Home

Good morning!  I love to make layouts with titles like this because almost any picture taken within the walls of our homes (especially those not posed) seem to fit well, like this one ...

... that my daughter took of me trying to get a little scrapbooking in while I'm babysitting two.  You can tell that this one wasn't posed because I didn't even get a chance to take my glasses off before she snapped it!  There's no place like home!

Non-Stop Fun!

Good morning!  Here are a couple of layouts I designed the last time I was at A Scrap in Time in Crestview, Florida.  They're themed for family game night where all of the board games and cards come out of the closet and get put to use!

I'm really getting antsy to get out of the house.  I'm sooooo looking forward to the first Saturday in May when I go back to A Scrap in Time to celebrate National Scrapbook Day.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a wonderful and blessed Tuesday!
