Same Papers - Two Layouts

Good morning! Are you loving the new Prima collections? This one is called Divine. I had a chance to play with it twice; once at Treasured Memories and the other time at Paper Niche.

This "chicken wire" is made out of wood as is the swirl and the title.

On this layout I wanted to emphasize the flower car on the bottom left corner. I also cut out a jalopy using Tim Holtz die.

This beautiful picture of Andrew  was taken on Sunday at a wildflower field here in Gainesville.

Madison Rose is also enjoying the beautiful spring weather in Tacoma, Washington. Andrew and Madison Rose will be together on Mother's Day weekend, yeah! (I will be there too, the Lord willing!)

Thank you for visiting my blog one more time. Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Happy Monday!

Good morning and happy Monday!  Hope your weekend was lovely.

I designed both of these layouts for Treasured Memories. This first one is using papers from Kaisercraft.

These are papers from Creative Imagination and fabulous chipboard pieces from Dusty Attic.  I love these rich, warm colors.

Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Blue Jean Baby

Good morning and happy Friday!  I have to confess that this is one of my favorite layouts of all time. I just love the denim, the weathered board paper and "diamond" combination.  I designed this layout for Treasured Memories at a crop several weeks ago.  When we asked the crop participants what they'd like to title this layout, they chose "Blue Jeans Baby".  So we had to make a last minute addition to the layout; the word "baby" on one of the pockets.

Philecia came up with this banner.  Isn't it beautiful?  This is what happens when creative minds work together.

I also have a Facebook page for Amazing Grace and I am always posting layouts and projects. You can "LIKE" the page and get the updates automatically. The link is right here: Amazing Grace in Facebook

Have a safe, fun and blessed weekend!

Love, love the banners!

Vacationing with Carta Bella

Happy Wednesday!  Hope you are having a great week so far.

I designed these layouts for Treasured Memories during my last visit.  These are the fabulous papers from Carta Bella.  The colors are incredibly rich.  They go very well with natural color of the twine.

On this one I used pieces of burlap.  The banners are made out of burlap with wooden airplane shapes glued to them.  The stamp frames and the large airplane were cut out on the Cricut.

Hope you have been inspired by these layouts today.  Thank you for stopping by!  Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Baseball!

Good morning! Are you enjoying this baseball season?  We sure are in this household!  Our son Danny plays baseball on the west coast and we're able to listen to his games on the internet.  With the 3 hour time difference, this means I am not in bed until about 1:00 am when those west coast games are over!  I am not complaining... I'll catch up on my sleep in the Fall!

These layouts were inspired by him of course.  I've been scrapping baseball pictures since he was 5 and now he is 26.  That's a lot of baseball albums!

These are some photos of Danny we took from our computer during Spring Training.

Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Generations

Good morning and happy Monday! Hope your weekend was awesome. I spent mine in Dothan, Alabama cropping and visiting with dear friends (Bea's Hive!).

This is a layout I made last week using Prima papers and and a ton of chipboard pieces.

This gorgeous clock is made out of chipboard, painted with Viva Crackling Color and then distressed in black.

All the gears and clocks are chipboard as well.

Have a wonderful and blessed Monday! Remember that it's a new day, a new week filled with wonderful memories-ready-to-be-made just for you!

Road Trip!

Good morning!  As much as I travel, I came up with this idea for a "Road Trip" layout.  It has mats for six photos.  The "postage stamp" mats were cut out on the Cricut.

Here is a close-up of the wood banners from My Little Yellow Bicycle.

The title and the Interstate Highway sign are also cut out on the Cricut.

Now in order to fill that layout with your road trip pictures, you're going to need to take your camera along, right?  This layout features vintage cameras and clocks.  The big camera on the right made using a Tim Holtz Sizzix die and the lens is a very elegant rhinestone broach.

Have a safe, pleasant and blessed weekend.  We will see you again on Monday.

1950's

Good morning!  I was sorting through some of my older Cricut cut-outs when I ran across these from the Nifty Fifties cartridge.  I don't even remember why I cut them out in the first place, but since I had the most perfect nostalgic papers to work with, I decided to put them to good use.

This first one features a '57 convertible and an old style gas pump from when gasoline was actually affordable.  This would be a great layout for your old high school photos when you wore a poodle skirt!

This next one is about bowling.  Ah, those were the days when a group of friends could spend a Friday evening at the bowling alley, wearing those rental shoes that who-knows-who wore them before and not really caring what their scores were.

Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Happy Girls

Good morning!  Today is "All About Girls" layouts.  I have been having so much fun with Julie Nutting doll stamps lately!  They are so much fun to play with.

This is a layout I designed for Treasured Memories using two of them The papers are from Echo Park. The dolls are stamped on printed paper and then dressed with outfits that match the rest of the layout.

This is a layout I designed for the Scrap-a-teers last weekend in New Orleans.  These papers are from the Lyric Collection from Prima.

This is another one of the Prima dolls.  I designed this layout for my friend Janet from Baton Rouge, La. last weekend.

Look how cute and sassy she is!

This is another layout I designed for Treasured Memories using the new collection from Echo Park called Sweet Girl.

I love my sun!!!!! It was so much fun to make.

Thank you for stopping by! Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Happy Tuesday!

Good morning! Well, I am back home after a fabulous weekend with the Scrap-a-teers in New Orleans. Here's a picture of our group. Char was an amazing hostess and organizer. Thank you Char!!!!!

Here are some of the layouts we worked on.  Most everyone finished them all!  I was very impressed! They were 11 two-page layouts and 3 one-page layouts.  I will post the rest of them throughout the week.

My heart is broken because of the tragedy in Boston.  Our daughter Valerie has been running since she was in middle school and throughout the years we have waited for her at the finish line at many, many races. Now Andrew joins us waiting for his mommy as she finishes the races.  I can't even  begin to imagine those who have been hurt and families destroyed because of an evil act.  My prayers go out to them and to the city of Boston.  I am so sorry. Have a wonderful and blessed day.

Happy Birthday!

Happy Monday!  Hope you had a lovely weekend.  I sure did with some wonderful scrappin' friends in New Orleans. I will tell you all about it tomorrow. Today I am driving back home and it's a lonnnngggg drive, that's for sure!

These are two layouts with the new BoBunny lines. The first one is Birthday.  I just love the vibrant colors and the fun and happy mixed letter font.

This one has nothing to do with birthdays or cupcakes, but I made it work with cupcakes.

Have a wonderful day and remember to enjoy today, even if it's Monday (and tax day, as well). There's a wonderful life to be lived ahead of you!  Have a blessed day!

Whooo Hooo - It's Friday!

Good morning! Hope you are having a great week so far and are ready for the weekend. I am off to New Orleans for a weekend crop with the "Scrap-a-teers".

This is a layout I made because I was inspired by the large clock from Dusty Attic.  I love clocks of all size and shapes, especially the ones with Roman numbers.  Did you notice that the clock on the right-hand page is the part cut from the clock on the left-hand page?  That makes it a two-for-one or as my cornball DH says - "efficient time management".

This is another layout I did for Paper Niche last weekend using more Prima's Divine Collection.

Don't you just love this flower car!

Have a wonderful, safe, happy and blessed weekend!

BoBunny Prairie Chic Collection

Good morning! I can't believe it's Thursday already....this week is just flying by!  Today's layouts are both done using the fabulous BoBunny Prairie Chic Collection.  It is one of their many new collections.

This first one is about friends.

And this one is about family.

And how appropriate is that?  Family and Friends are the two most important things in life.  Everything else is just details!

Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Little Boys

Good morning!  Now that I'm spending my weekdays looking after my grandson, Andrew, I'm finding myself inspired to  make more little boys layouts.

Every day is a new adventure with Andrew.  Sometimes we go the pet store to visit the animals.  We also go to the Natural History Museum at the University of Florida and to a local farm to visit his new friend Penny the cow.  Some days we just hang around here and I make little boy layouts!

Hope you enjoy these pages as much as I enjoy having him around.  Have a wonderful and blessed day.
