Ella's Pink Scrapbook & Paper Niche Sneak Peak

Happy Thursday! Today is  another fabulous Ella's Pink Scrapbook (aka TPE) day! It's a Recipe Challenge:  Light aqua, patterned paper and your favorite embellishment. This color has been one of my all-time favorites. Here is my take:

I had a lot of fun designing with banners and stars in the same color scheme. My favorite embellishment? I have to say pearls! I always wear pearl earrings....

Here is a sneak peak of my work for Paper Niche's October kit. They never cease to amaze me with their  kits! As a designer they are a "dream come true" because they are soooo generous! I will post the rest of my work on Saturday.

Have a wonderful, fabulous and blessed day!

Canvas class at Paper Niche

Happy Tuesday! I am back from a fabulous weekend in Ft. Lauderdale. Once again, I had the priviledge to teach at Paper Niche and what a delight it was......When I entered the store this is what I saw on their counter, flavored water!!!!

They tell me they have a different flavor everyday! The next thing I saw was Krista, she is a ray of sunshine and always smiling.

Then I walked around the store and saw their new "ribbon  and lace station".......

Next  I saw the Donna Downey and Prima station.....

and the list goes on!!!!!! This store has the latest and the bestest (yes, my new word.....) my eyes have seen lately! Finally I get to the crop room on Friday evening and I see my friend Liz making gorgeous Magnolia cards! She is sooo talented..... she showed me all her copic markers and how to use them too.

I taught my class on Saturday. We started at 9 am and finished at about 6 pm. Then me and  many of the ladies stayed to crop until 1 am! It was so much fun. Here are some pictures of the class:

I want to share with you some of their final work. This is a bunch of talented ladies!

Thank you Paper Niche, Tammy and  all the staff for making me feel so welcomed and loved. I look forward to seeing you in November!!!!!!

"Time of my life" layout

Happy Friday! Here is a page I made using so many cool techniques such as punching out scalloped circles  from an old book and making flowers out of them, making my own ribbon out of bias tape, making leaves and cutting them free hand with edged scissors and scrapping only one  small picture on the side! Ever since I started "Art Journaling" I find myself venturing into new ways with papers and mixed media and I am loving every minute of it! You should try it too.....

Have a wonderful and blessed weekend!

Tiny "brown bag tags"

Happy Thursday! Here I am in Gainesville visiting my daughter since yesterday and on my way to Ft. Lauderdale for the weekend, but my trip doesn't stop me from sharing with you this cute project! These are tiny paper bags which you can buy at Michael's by the party section. I embellished the front and made a tag to go inside. I think they will look adorable on my pages and they will also make very cute birthday cards.

Have a wonderful and blessed day!

A new addiction....."Art Journaling"

My dear friend Elena introduced me to "Art Journaling". She sent me two videos and a hand-made journal she made just for me.

I watched the first video on Sunday afternoon and as I watched it my heart started beating so fast and got so excited my husband thought that I had won a cruise with Tim Holtz! I said no. I had discovered a new  addition and addiction (as if I needed another one.....). Today I made my first page....

I also painted a bunch of other ones ready to be journaled. I loved "feeling" the paints in my hands and playing with colors! (I haven't had so much fun since finger painting in Kindergarten!!!) I used some of the newest Prima screens and Donna Downey stamps.

Have a blessed and fabulous day!
