My girl

Good morning! Hope you had a great and restful weekend. These pictures were taken when we were at Epcot in December.  My sweet husband rented me a wheelchair so I could last all day.  Well, every time I got up he sat down in it to rest.  He loves his "goo goo da da" even though shes's all grown up! (Valerie, I want to see if you read mom's blog).

I played this weekend with Sassafras and Heidi Swapp papers and this is what I made:

You can see more details in this picture.

This is what my partners in crime and I do after church on Sundays.....we go to Michael's and check out the $1 and $2 bins! We found these adorable hats and we had to try them on!

I found a bee, perfect for my name Bea! Do you see a page being in the making????

Love your friends and have fun with them, even if you just see them at the supermarket. Treasure every moment together, remember they are a gift from God! Have a FABULOUS and BLESSED Monday!

Tara Cheung

I am British at heart, living life in South Florida with my husband Jimmy and two boys-Tyler and Hunter. Being a Registered Nurse in management is very stressful at times-my stress relief is Scrapbooking...it relaxes me. I love the world of scrapbooking. I have been scrapping for 5 years, obsessed with the paper, ribbon, flowers and bling...scrappin my two boys is my passion, and I am known for using flowers and bling on their pages and making it work. Just scrap from your heart and you will never go wrong!
Heather Innusa

Hi, my name is Heather Innusa. I live in Hollywood, Florida with my hubby of almost 10 years Sal, and our two children, Christian (5) and Alivia (2)…and our mini-wiener dog JJ. I'm blessed to have this crazy, amazing family that grounds me. My son actually shares my love of all things crafty and I can't wait to share the hobby with my daughter as well. I work in a law office by day as a legal assistant, and after I get home {and… do dinner/clean up/play with the kiddies/do the bedtime round-up/hang with my hubby} I like to craft my nights away. Thank God I don't need much sleep, because I definitely don't get it .I started scrapping back when I started dating my hubby (around 16 yrs ago). Of course, back then, I was using a three-ring binder, notebook paper, stickers, and markers. It's nice (and funny!) to look back and see how I've grown in my craft. I love it that those pictures aren't just sitting in a shoe box, somewhere in a closet. We can (and do) admire them, and show them to our children and friends.I love the process of creating - whether it's stamping, card making, scrapbooking, making mini books, or gifts. Seeing the finished product and knowing that I put my heart into it really makes me happy! While I've just recently started stamping/cardmaking; scrapbooking (and making mini books) is very near and dear to my heart. I loooove taking pictures - capturing the physical proof of the memories - and then recording them and journaling about what was going on at that time to look back on later. I think there is something so important about that. I am so super excited to be a part of the Paper Niche Design Team! I'm looking forward to being inspired by everyone else and am hoping to inspire along the way too. I'm really looking forward to growing in my craft, getting better at it, and learning new things. I've constantly been inspired by the past design teams, and look to the left (and all around the store!!) every time I walk into Paper Niche to see what they've come up with!! Thank you so much for this opportunity!!

Veronica Johnson

My name is Veronica Johnson and I have been very blessed to be married to a wonderful man – Kerry and be a mother to a beautiful and very kind daughter - Vanessa. I have been scrapbooking for over 10 years and have taught scrap book and stamping classes at scrapbook stores and conventions and loved every minute of it. I enjoy bringing new techniques and my love of scrapbooking to inspire as many crafters as I can.

Beatriz Farquhar-Guzman

This is my second term and I am thrilled and thankful! Scrapbooking has been my passion for as long as I can remember.  I love making two-page layouts and I enjoy using a variety of techniques in all kinds of paper crafts. I love to teach! I live in Alabama with my husband Steve. We are expecting our first grand baby in September!

Gine Silveira, is the Design Team & Kit Coordinator at Paper Niche

Hi I'm Gine Silveira, a Norwegian native living in sunny South Florida, with my husband, our 3 beautiful children our 2 cats and dog. I have a passion for photography, paper and everything else you can cut, adhere or alter. Well ehhh maybe it's more an obsession... but it keeps me sane and happy. Hardly a day goes by that I don't spend some time in my scrapbook room and my Nikon usually comes with me everywhere I go. Most of my work is distressed and grungy, but I also love doing dainty girly projects, and I'm slowly getting better at using brighter colors. I have been a part of the Paper Niche family since May 2009 and love it here.

Circus page for my future grandbaby!

Yes..... I'm just getting the pages ready for when I take him/her to the circus!!! I used Paper Doll Dress Up, Doodlecharms, Paisley Cachemire and Animal Kingdom Cricut Cartridges to make it. It was a lot of time and work but well worth it!

I used my cuttlebug to emboss many of the pieces.

I used Martha Stewart's shredding scissors, they are so much fun!

I keep encouraging my friend Peggy to get a blog so she can share her beautiful work with all of you. She made this pretty layout using My Mind's Eye papers. The colors are so bright and cheery, love it. Way to go Peggy!

Have a fabulous and blessed weekend!

Weekend memories at Paper Niche

Good morning! I am back at home and wearing about three layers of clothing....it's cold! As promised, I wanted to share with you my fabulous weekend at Paper Niche. First of all, I want to thank Tammy for being the perfect hostess and I am not exaggerating, she always takes care of every detail and makes me feel very loved and special. We are standing next to our favorite corner in the store.

Many of my students throughout the weekend are artists themselves so I was challenged left and right. I want you to meet them:

This is Luci, an amazing teacher, designer, friend, and she is also a police officer!!! The first time I met her she was wearing her uniform and was walking trough the aisles... I thought there was a problem of some sort! It turned out she was shopping for her next class!!!She loves flowers and ATC's. You can visit her blog HERE.

This is Karla and she is from Venezuela too! We've been friends through blogging and we finally met in person. She made this gorgeous card for me, thank you Karla! Her work is fabulous and you can see it HERE.

This is my sweet friend Cassia who is an amazing designer of  interactive pages and her nickname is scrapbooking bug. Her work is very unique and she even has them on video! You can visit her HERE.

This is my precious friend Elena. Let me tell you about this lady.... she is a criminal lawyer by trade but when she discovered scrapbooking about 5 years ago, her world was turned upside down! Not only it has given her "sanity" (in her own words) but has also led her to another level of sensitivity for women through the gift of paper. She is an artist at heart! You can visit her HERE

This is Michelle and you can see her designer's eye when you look at the page she made. She is an interior designer by trade and a scrapbooker at heart.

This is sweet and talented Mindy. Again, we knew each other through blogging and on Saturday evening we met in person and were able to spend some time together. You can visit her HERE.

She made me this gorgeous card, I love it! Thank you Mindy!

This is the one and only, fun and creative, Maevan... and talk about being on fire for crafts! This lady plays with everything she can get in her hands and turns it into something amazing! She made this canvas album  for Jessica. You can visit Maevan's blog  HERE

This is Jessica, the queen of modeling paste! She is making this album for her son who loves planes. This album is gorgeous!!!!!

This is Karen and as I write her name I get a HUGE smile in my heart! You see, when you hang out with her all you do is laugh and be inspired. Let me show you what she made during our crop on Saturday night:

Yes, it is a stickle holder!!!! She made it from scratch and she also bought tiny glass bottles and filled them with stickles to make the base pretty!!!! Isn't it fabulous? She held them with Velcro.

This is my dear friend Marta who loves vintage and altered items. She also makes vintage jewelry.  Her work is fabulous! You can visit her  HERE.

And there were many more wonderful ladies and memories throughout the weekend.

Thank you Paper Niche and friends for an amazing and unforgettable weekend! I'll see you in March!
