little houses

Good morning! Hope you had a fabulous weekend. This layout is all about spring, isn't it? You can see the original at Paper Niche in Ft. Lauderdale.

I added lace, flowers, bling and doodled  all over.

You can see the doodling better in this picture.

Andrew was in his first race with his mommy and daddy on Saturday.

Look at his number!!!

And his running shoes did not even get dirty or worn out.....

Have a happy, joyful and blessed day!

Charlotte's Dream papers

Good morning! I can't believe it's Thursday already... this week has really flown by, hasn't it? I have two layouts to share with you today which I designed for Kat & June Bug's last weekend. Both of them are created with the new Kaisercraft Collection called Charlotte's Dream. I am in love with these papers!!!!!

This one has the fabulous "Reflections" from Prima (the clock, the word Wonder, the frame on the left, the key, etc.) and their wooden buttons.

How do you like my flowers made with twine/rope???? I love how it looks next to the fancy rhinestones!

Here is another layout with the same paper collection and lots of Prima flowers, lace and bling.

I bought this awesome Stickle holder at Kat & June Bug's and I love it! Kathy's husband makes them to order. Contact them in case you need/want  one.

Have a great, happy and fabulous and blessed day!

She Art

Good morning! Have you seen the new She Art Collection by Pink Paislee?  It is adorable!!!!! I designed this layout for Kat and June Bug's Scrapbook Store in Alabama.

I took the original She Art Workshop  with the talented Christy Tomlinson so I got very inspired to doodle and play around with these new  papers and stickers without the mess of mixed media.

Hope this inspires you to doodle some more! Have a great and blessed day!

My craft room

Happy Tuesday to all my friends!  Don't you just love the new Prima collections?  I was able to play at Kat & June Bug's and designed these layouts for her store.  This one is called Sun Kiss.  I also used the lucky 8 punch ( by We r Memory Keepers) to cut out the large circle.

This one is called Meadow Lark. Fabulous colors!

I finally got the courage to share my studio with you.  I see sooo many pretty ones out there that I always think that mine is not good enough to share.  Then I thought... that's wrong!  It works for me and that is what matters!

My studio is located in a large Florida room which is located off my dining room. It is about 12' x 25'. It has three large windows and one sliding door to the backyard. I do not have much wall space. All my furniture is from Ikea. My pretty aqua stools are hand-painted my a famous folk-art artist from my home country Venezuela.

This pretty bird is from Pier One. I have all my scraps (solid colors) categorized by colors underneath my desk.

I love these boxes even though they are hard to open at times. I have my embellishments and paper categorized by season/events such as birthdays, Easter, etc, etc.

This is the only wall I have in the room and that is where I have office bookshelves which hold my albums and craft books.

Hope you enjoyed seeing where I spend my days and create. Have a great and blessed day!

Happy Monday!

Good morning!  I hope you had a great weekend.  Today I am sharing with you two beach-theme layouts I designed for Everything Scrapbook & Stamps.  These are some of the new summer lines that are already out.

I had so much fun making this next layout.  When I saw the paper with the clothesline and bathing suits hanging from it, I knew I wanted to string them between two palm tress. The palm tress were cut with the AccuCut machine and die and the coconuts are, of course, buttons.

This is probably the strangest sun ever, but I enjoyed making it!  I put stretch lace around it and then tied, shredded and glued small knots with thin twine.  I love it!

This is baby Andrew and his mother Valerie during a cloudy but beautiful sunset in Clearwater Beach, Florida last month.

Have a great and blessed day!

April Showers SOUS

Good morning!  Our new challenge at SOUS today is "April Showers".  I must admit that the first thought that came to mind were not May flowers but my frizzy hair.  So... I decided to go for it and scrap it.  My daughter and I had gone to the beauty salon to get our hair done and within an hour later we were both subject to the mercy of high humidity because of April showers!!!  So... here it is!

Stop by SOUS to see what the other designer's are up to today. We took this beautiful picture last month during my son's Spring Training in Dunedin, Florida. I can't believe that my babies have babies of their own already!  Madison is 8 months old and Andrew is almost 4 months.

Enjoy your loved ones and make sure you tell them how much you love them and how special they are to you. Those words/actions are what we treasure forever.  Have a fabulous, happy and blessed weekend!

Nature fun

Good morning! It's my turn to be at The Bug Bytes today, yeah! Okay... my project is this two-page layout and I am featuring Mr. Owl the Explorer. You can find him in the Camping Critters Cricut Cartridge. He is sooo cute! I cut him size 6" and outlined him with a fine point Sharpie black pen.

Thank you for stopping by. Have a great and blessed day!

I love BoBunny!!!!

Good morning! Have you seen some of the new BoBunny collections? Oh my....I am in trouble because I love them all! I had a chance to design these layouts for Kat & June Bugs last time I was there. These are from the BoBunny Ambrosia Collection.

This one is the BoBunny Alora Collection. There's a lot of cutting in this layout because I literally took the papers apart and put them back together.

Have a great and blessed Tuesday!

The Bug Bytes Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome to the The Bug Bytes Spring Blog Hop. If you are participating on the hop you must have arrived from Michelle at  http://ladyofleisureink.blogspot.com/  and your next stop, after me here,  is Jen at  http://3catsandabug.blogspot.com/

The theme of the hop is "Crafty Me" using greens and yellows. This sketch was created by Pam herself!

This is my take of her sketch... and of course, I converted it into a two-page layout. I loved working with this color scheme, so pretty and fresh. Instead of "Crafty me" I used "Crafty Bea"  and used some great pictures I had from last Summer during one of our crops.

You can see all the layers here.

Remember to hop over  to Jen at 3 cats and a bug. Enjoy the inspiration today! Have a great and blessed weekend!

I took these close up shots so you can see all the wonderful embellishments that come with this line.

Look at those colors and flowers!!!!

Stop by tomorrow so you can participate in The Bug Bytes April's Blog Hop, it will be lots of fun!  Have a great and blessed day!

Sunshine!

Good morning!  The weather has been absolutely beautiful lately here in North Florida and it reminds me that Summer and beach time are just around the corner, yeah!  So here is my layout for today, full of sunshine.

I used this awesome burlap orange ribbon and yellow rope to embellish the sun.

I hope you do not get tired of me posting these adorable pictures of my grand-kids here on my blog.  The truth is that this is the only way I get my children to read my blog!  Otherwise they tell me "Mom, it's the same thing all the time". Anyhow, Andrew and I had so much fun scrapbooking together!!!

I have no idea why he thought the banner I was cutting out was so funny, but he did.  I'd make a snip and he'd laugh.  He laughed even harder when I asked him if I should pop it up.

So I did the only thing that made sense to me at the time ... I popped him up and gave him my tape gun!  I think we have a scrapper in the making!!!
