Five layouts on a beautiful Sunday

Happy Sunday! Hope you are having a fabulous weekend. Here are some pages I made throughout the week. This first one is a beach layout using bright colors.

The green flower is a paper clip from Office Max!!!!!

I made this layout using  Olivia from Basic Grey. The colors are so bright and cheery, perfect for my pictures. The flowers are made with punches out of the left over papers. The pink banners are cupcake holders!!!! Yes, you read right..... cupcake holders. I bought them in every color..... they are already pleated and the possibilities are endless....

My friend Peggy and I scrapped more of her pictures and went from one style to the other. It is awesome to play with someone who loves papers and embellishments as much as you do!!!!!!

Peggy bought these fabulous metal pieces at the Country Living Fair in Atlanta last weekend. She told me that Jenni Bowlin was there!

We used Portobello Road from Lost & Found (MME) papers and embellishments for this layout. The rope is made out of floral wire! It bends beautifully.

The bright blue paper is the new glitter cardstock from Michael's. It is gorgeous!!!! They have them in over 10 colors, a little pricey ($1.99) but worth every penny. The frames are made out of chipboard and they were on the Halloween clearance section.

The Pink Elephant Challenge: Orange and Brown

Good morning! Don't you just love fall colors? Well,  The Pink Elephant Challenge this week is to make a page using  Orange and Brown and, of course, I had the perfect papers from the October Paper Poppy Kit. I also had a great picture of my friends and me at the Michael's in Panama City Beach during our weekend trip. Since there are no changing-color-leaves in this part of the world we decided to make our very own Fall Festival!!!!! Yes, people were smiling as they passed us by......

Mini scrapbooks within a page!

Good morning everyone! This is one of the cool pages we did last Saturday.  These pages are 12 x 12 each but I made 18 mini scrapbooks within them! The recipe? Here it is, give it a try!
  • 18 scalloped circles - 3"-
  • 18 squares - 3"-
  • 18 circles  made out of cardboard -2 3/4-
  •  Embellish to taste

Here are some close up pictures of individual squares.

My friend Karen made one for her baby girl (she is arriving next March) in pinks and she used the papers  "Ducks in a row" from October Afternoon. It turned out gorgeous!!!!

My friend Shari from "Shari's creations with the cricut" made this gorgeous grunge  purse. She has a tutorial on her blog. Stop by and check it out! What a beautiful present this would make....

"Water Fun" page and Mini -book swap

Good morning! Today I am sharing with you two projects. The first one is a layout I did of my daughter, her husband and their dog Moses. I used Martha Stewart edge punch to make the doily around the circle, chipboard birds, Maya Road swirls, and Prima flowers. The tag  and butterfly on the left were stamped and embossed.

Nanne from Stuck On Us Sketches was my swap partner for the Fall Mini Book. I received hers yesterday and I must say it is FABULOUS! So many details.... so many pockets, layers, tags, and beautiful flowers! You can visit her blog here. I have to get busy on making another one for her since the original one was stolen. I hope they put it to good use!!!!!!

Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Country Life and October Afternoon together!!!!

Happy Monday! Hope you had a fabulous weekend. Mine was amazing.... spent Friday shopping at Archivers, Hobby Lobby and  JoAnn's etc in Atlanta, scrapping with my fabulous friends all day on Saturday, then church on Sunday. Life is good!!!!!!

I got my Country Life Cricut Cartridge on Saturday and of course had to play with it right away.... I mixed it up with "Farm Fresh" from October Afternoon and made this double-page layout. I posted a lot of  close up pictures so you can see how I combined the pieces cut out with the cricut and the ones from the papers.

I used a snow flake punch to make the rays of the sun. Then I doodled and added Glossy Accents.

Have a wonderful, fabulous and blessed day!

Happy Friday!

Happy Friday! Today I am sharing this layout which  is filled with things I love such as birds, flowers, lace, pearls, and of course, a picture of my daughter and  her daddy. These were taken in Dunedin, Fl,  while we waited for Danny to finish his practice. The weather was perfect enough to lay down under a big tree and read.

Beach layouts

Happy Thursday! These are my beach layouts I created last weekend. These pictures were  taken in
St. Petersburgh, Fl, earlier this month. My husband fed many, many, many birds! One of them almost took his finger off! He had a lot of fun. I used "Life is a Beach" Cricut Cartridge.

These pictures were taken in Clearwater Beach, Florida. The sunset was fabulous....

Our daughter had lots of fun taking these pictures of "mom & dad in love". I especially like the one where we are walking on the beach and you only see our backs.

Another delicious meal on the beach.

There was a wedding earlier on that afternoon on the beach. Our children decided to "marry " us again using a bunch of things left behind, including this pretty gazebo!

I found this metal cupid and used it for the center of the flower.   Have a blessed and wonderful day... hope I inspired you to scrap those summer pictures!
