Soft and Sweet Pink

Good morning! Just a quick note to share with you these layouts which are very soft and elegant. As always, the pictures don't give justice to the papers and all the layers and details.

I am off to Chicago now. Have a fabulous and blessed weekend! Hug your loved ones and tell them how much you appreciate them and love them. Life is good!

Puppies

Good morning! Hope your week is going amazing so far.  Mine is going well and I am actually very excited because I am going to see my son and his precious family tomorrow until Sunday evening. They are in Chicago for the season. I was told to take winter clothes because even though it's Spring, it's still snowing almost daily up there!

This is one of my latest kits. I used Heartfelt Creations papers. They are all puppies and soooo super fluffy and cute!

Have  a wonderful and blessed day!

Bamboozled by Love

Good morning and happy Monday!  What do you suppose is in store for you this new and exciting week?

Here's a recent layout of mine that I made with my granddaughter in mind, as the panda is one of her favorite animals.  She knows that pandas eat bamboo and, since there is a big grove of bamboo growing in her side yard, has spent a lot of time looking out her bedroom window trying to catch a glimpse of one.  Her brother burst her bubble by telling her that pandas live only in China!

Here's a photo of Andrew and Carolina visiting me in re-hab last year, bringing me a ton of "Panda Love".  This is a perfect photo for this layout.

And this one with our son Danny and Madison hugging before the Father/Daughter dance at her school this year would be make a great picture for this layout, too.  Plenty of love, but no pandas necessary.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a wonderful and blessed day and a super productive week!

Travel Layouts

Happy Friday! Are you ready for the weekend? Do you have any plans? I have my days packed with family activities and also I am taking a Mixed-Media Class on Saturday afternoon. Can't wait to show you what I am up to. I'll post pictures on Monday.

I love to make layouts related to travel. This one was one of my kits in March which sold out very quickly. I take it for granted that I live in the Sunshine State but many of my friends and customers don't. They come down here for vacation to Disney World, beaches, etc. I tried to represent the State with embellishments of this that are common to tourists.

This next one can be used with the one above because you can journal in the State of Florida or mark  the map with your other destinations.

Don't forget to take pictures, specially of your loved ones and make sure you print them! Have a fabulous, fun and blessed weekend.

Teen Life

Good morning! Hope you are all having a great week. Mine has been quite busy with grandchildren, doctor's appointments and life in general. Life is good and so is the Lord!

Here are two layouts I made recently dedicated to teenage boys. They brought so many memories of my Danny as a teenager. His father says that there are "inside dogs" and "outside dogs".  Danny was  most definitely an "outside dog".  He spent those years playing ball and anything else he could get his hands on as long as it was outside; rain or shine. He was a great teenager and never ever gave us trouble in general. I pray I will have a long life so I get the chance to see my grands go thru those amazing years.

Have a fabulous, safe, loving and blessed Thursday!

Sesame Street

Good morning and happy Wednesday!  Here is a layout that I made using some of the Sesame Street characters.  I find it hard to believe that Sesame Street has been around for nearly 50 years!  And the Cookie Monster still likes his cookies.

Thanks for visiting today.  Have a happy and blessed day!

Little Girls Want to Learn

Good morning! Maybe you saw these layouts on Facebook over the weekend already. Well, there's a story behind them. Growing up in Venezuela it was customary to make your little girls learn about sewing, knitting, embroidering, piano, foreign languages (mainly English and French) and of course, choir. Of course, I did it all and then some. My knitting teacher was a lovely lady from the Netherlands that lived down the street from us. It was very common for her to take apart my project and make me start all over again. I was suppose to count stitches!!!

The same thing was with sewing classes. I remember one time I was suppose to make a shirt and I ended up with a robe! The teacher did not even let me finish it. I still have it in my hope chest! I'm sure my grandkids will get a good laugh when their mother tell them the story.

What am I good at? well..... I never took classes for it but God called me to PAPER and over the years He has done an amazing job training me!!!! I love the story in Exodus 31 of Bezalel and Oholiab. In verse 3 the Lord says that he has filled them with the Spirit of God with skill, ability and knowledge in ALL kinds of crafts. I sure have tried a bunch of them and love them all.

Have a wonderful, fun, creative and blessed day!

Just Beat It

It's Friday already! Are you ready for another weekend? Are you cropping? I am sooo ready to scrap, go to the movies to see "I Can Only Imagine", to go to church and of course, to watch some good White Sox baseball on TV.

This is one of my recent kits I made. I love the title! it reminds me of the song by Michael Jackson.  (I'm really not that old.  My mother told me about it.)

Have a fabulous, safe, fun and blessed weekend!

Disney World

Good morning and happy Wednesday! One of the questions I've been asked a lot is if I ever get tired of scrapbooking. The answer from the bottom of my heart has always been "NO!"  The sky is the limit when it comes to putting these layouts together for me. Colors, shapes, embellishments, but most of all is the inspiration to actually put them together. Living only two hours away from Disney World makes it very easy to visit a few times a year. The grandkids love it and so do we the adults!  Here's one layout I made last night.

One of these days I might make a carousel or a Dumbo layout. You do not see those very often.

Thank you for stopping by. Have a fabulous, safe and blessed day!

Addicted to Caffeine

Good morning! Hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend. Ours was fun. We went to church and then for brunch to our daughter's house. The kids loved their Easter Egg Hunt and then devoured their jelly beans and chocolates (and so did we, the adults!).

Madison, Landon and Liam spent their Easter weekend in California visiting their other grandparents.

This is one of my kits this month. It came as a 2-page layout with a bonus single page.

Have a wonderful and blessed day!
