I Love Animals!

Happy Monday! Hope your weekend was great. I spent it at a crop at A Scrap in Time in Crestview, Florida . It was a lot of fun and I got to meet a lot of lovely people from the area.

Today's layouts are very "dangerous" ... they are filled with lions and tigers and bears ... oh my!  Andrew loves to see my layouts and point to all of the animals.

Andrew's parents took him to the zoo in St. Louis, Missouri and he loved every minute of it!

The cutest thing is that he loved ALL of the animals, regardless if they were real or just statues.

He loved the petting zoo and chased the goats around.

And here's Madison at the Seattle Zoo, trying to give the leopard a kiss!

Thank goodness for 1" thick safety glass!

Well, at least this elephant doesn't mind if she takes a ride!

Have a wonderful and joyful day in the Lord. Thank you for stopping by!

Ocean Fun

Good morning!  Here are a couple of layouts I made with an ocean theme.

This next one shows what goes on below the surface.  See how I added some flourishes to the fish and took them from drab to dramatic?  I'm sure that the lovely sea horse agrees.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I'm off to Crestview, Florida to A Scrap in Time for a crop today and tomorrow.  Have a safe and blessed weekend and we'll see you again on Monday.

School Days Layout

Good morning!  Hope you are having a great week so far.  This layout is all about school days.  Right now I am working on 3 albums from Preschool all the way to High School graduation.  I will post them once I finish them. The round pleated flowers are made with the Tim Holtz die cut.

Have a great and blessed day!

Circus Layouts

Good morning!  I have a few circus layouts that I've made lately.  Even though I do not like clowns, I love everything else about the circus.  It brings back fabulous childhood memories!  The circus would come to my hometown about 3 times a year and we always got front row seats!

I designed this first layout for Treasured Memories during the July Mega Crop. Every one loved it.

These next two layouts were for kits I made recently.  I used the Animal Kingdom Cricut cartridge for the animals and Paper Dolls Dress Up for the clown and the ringmaster.

I think my lion is very sad being inside such a small cage! (ha, ha, ha)

Hope you enjoyed these bright and fun layouts.  Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Wedding

Happy Tuesday!  I love to design wedding theme layouts and add words such as "Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow".  How romantic is that?

My precious niece Andreina Beatriz got married last week in Turin, Italy where she lives. I can't get over my brother's joyful expression.  Proud papa indeed!

Here is the happy couple!

Uh-oh!  Is the honeymoon over already???

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a wonderful and blessed day.

Happy Birthday, Madison!

Happy Monday!  Hope you had a great and restful weekend.  I can't believe our precious grandbaby Madison Rose turned two already.  She is growing up way too fast!  She loves Bubble Guppies so that was the theme of her birthday party. They had a lovely piñata made just for her. The kids loved blowing bubbles and of course, eating cake and ice cream. The party was held at the stadium and her daddy made it just in time right after the game to sing "Happy Birthday" and watch them break the piñata .

I thought it would be nice to share this family event with all of you since the layouts today are all about birthdays.

Thank you for stopping by!  Have a wonderful and blessed day filled with the strength and joy of the Lord.

Yeehaw!!!

Happy Friday!  Are there any horse lovers out there?  My granddaughter Madison Rose absolutely loves to ride the ponies at a farm near Seattle where they live.  She actually has her own calendar where she marks the days off until she gets to visit the farm and ride her ponies again!  Her four favorites are Coconut, Bumbleberry, Carrot and Apple.  (We think this is Bumbleberry.)

I designed this layout for Treasured Memories this past July.

The rest of these are ones that I either designed for customers or made into kits.

Thanks for stopping by, partners!  Giddy up and have a wonderful and blessed day.

One Pagers

Good morning! I posted new kits for sale under KITS last night. Let me know if you would like to purchase any of them, remember they sell out pretty fast!

I've been having fun lately designing one-page layouts.  They are so much easier, faster, and I can put more embellishments.  They're perfect for the first or the last page of an album or for shadow boxes.

Hope you have enjoyed my new venture.  Have a wonderful and blessed day.

Blues and Greens Tgether

Happy Wednesday!  I've been playing with this color scheme a lot lately.  I just love blues and greens together.  When I made this first layout I told a friend that I wanted to go sit down in this bench!  It looks soooo inviting, doesn't it?

Thank you for stopping by!  Have a marvelous and blessed day!

Nurses Care!

Good morning!  Here is a layout I made for nurses and all that they do.  This kit was very popular with my nurse friends!

Here is a photo of our son Danny and fellow teammate Charlie Furbush visiting a Seattle area children's hospital recently along with Mariner Moose.  What is it that they say?  "Laughter is the best medicine"!!!.

Have a wonderful, smiley, happy and blessed day!

Dr. Seuss

Happy Monday!  Hope you had a lovely weekend.  Mine was spent relaxing at home.  I actually got to play with some new wooden embellishments and paints.  My nails are a mess!  Oh, well... that's the price we pay.

Dr. Seuss' books were among my children's favorites. I think that they learned to read by memorizing them.  I made this layout recently and many mommy's and grandma's wanted one since they have a story just like mine.  There are some things that pass from generation to generation and this is one of them, don't you think?

Thank you for stopping by! Have a fabulous and blessed day and let the joy of the Lord be your strength today.

Baby Girl Layouts

Good morning and happy Friday!  Can you believe Caroline Bea (my third grandbaby) will be here in about 4 months?  I can't wait to meet her!  We have a few "photos" of her already and she is kicking and turning all over her mommy's womb!  Here are three layouts inspired by her.  All we need now are some photos.

Have a fabulous, wonderful and blessed weekend!

Fishing

Good morning!  Here are three layouts that I made with a fishing theme.  Our son loves to fish and has just purchased a home in Louisiana, the "Sportsman's Paradise".  He'll surely be able to provide the photos for these pages!

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a wonderful and blessed day.

Remember today!

Happy Wednesday!  I can't believe the weather is already changing around here and the pool is  getting cold!  I know that's no problem for baby Andrew ... he will swim in the north pole as long as there's water!  He thinks he is a fish!

Today's layouts are so cheery and happy.  These are papers from Echo Park.  I love them all and their collections are fabulous.  They are one of my favorite companies.

Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Timeless

Good morning!  Here are a couple of layouts I made titled "Timeless"

And here's one with a play on words called "Times Weekly".  Have you noticed that I love to use lots of clocks and gears?

Thanks for visiting my blog today.  Have wonderful and blessed day.

Memories

Good morning!  Another wonderful week has come and gone and here we are starting another one already.  Have you noticed that I love to use the word MEMORIES on my layouts?  Why?  Because "anything goes" with that word!  No matter what the occasion was, we treasured those moments and want to preserve them forever.  That's why we take pictures in the first place and then scrapbook them, right?

I added the metal old fashioned telephone and key to this layout and I imagine pictures printed in sepia. They will look great with this background.

I designed this one for Treasured Memories and I dressed up one of Julie Nutting's doll stamps with the same papers as the layout. She looks so elegant!

Remember to smile, make the best of today and give thanks to the Lord in all you do. Have a great and blessed day!
