Bea's Hive

Good morning! Today I want to share with you our fabulous scrapbooking adventure. My friend Linda came up with the name for our group: Bea's Hive. We all loved it! That became our theme for our trip to Treasured Memories Mega Crop in Rayne, Louisiana.  We had t-shirts made and we also dressed in yellow and black the entire weekend.

We decorated our tables with bee hives and flying bees.

Linda made name tags and cup holders.

Steve sewed goody bags for all of us and filled them with a water bottle, candy bars, gum and a scripture card. (He is the bomb!).

Each one of us had a number.  Bee #1 is Ana.

Bee # 2 is me, Beatriz

Bee #3 is Cathy

Bee #4 is Joy

Bee # 5 is Linda

Bee # 6 is Melanie

Bee # 7 is Peggy
And Bee #8 is Vicky

Janet, the owner of  Treasured Memories has done it again. This is her fourth Mega Crop and all I can say is that they get better and better every year. The space was amazing,  everyone got a spacious 6' table, goody bags, t-shirt, tickets for prizes throughout the weekend, and of course, the friendliest, most loving and most scrapbooking- passionate staff in the whole wide world!!!

We are already making plans for next year's event. Treasured Memories goes Hawaiian! Just imagine our bees wearing flowered shirts and hula skirts..... can't wait! I will continue to share more about the event tomorrow. Have a blessed and fabulous day!

Howdy, Partner!

Good morning, everyone! I am happy to be home safe and sound.  We had a wonderful time in Rayne, Louisiana at the Treasured Memories Mega-Crop. I have so much you share with you about our experience! I will start writing about it tomorrow.

This is a layout I made the day before we left last week.  I knew that I would be buying tons of new stuff out there (and I did) so I just went through what I had on hand and picked some things to make this layout.

While I was away the cat did play!!!  My AWESOME and CRAZY husband got into my Cricut again surprised me with a new video.

He just loves using every last inch of paper.  He even goes through my garbage can and pulls out pieces that he says are too good to throw away!  There's no hope for this guy.

Hope you enjoyed it. Have a blessed and fabulous day!

Happy Monday!

Good morning!  I hope that you all had a wonderful weekend.

We had a marvelous four days in Rayne, Louisiana at the Treasured Memories Mega-Crop.  The eight of us will be leaving shortly headed back to "Florgiabama" (the Florida, Georgia & Alabama tri-state region).  On our way home we're planning to do a little sightseeing.  Our first stop will be the Atchafalaya Basin, home of the "Swamp People".  After that we'll visit New Orleans to see some beautiful old homes in the Garden District, then maybe Jackson Square.

I'm sure that we'll get a lot of inspiration and photographs.  New Orleans has many beautiful ornamental fences so I'm planning on giving my Cricut Ornamental Iron cartridge a real workout when I get back.

I used it a little bit here on this layout I made before we left for Louisiana.

I love mixing and matching the light blues here.

Unfortunately, I didn't have any bluebirds, but these worked out nicely, don't you think?

And what would a layout be without a little "bling"?

Have a blessed and wonderful day!!!

SOUS Sketch reveal

Good morning! It's time for another Stuck On Us Sketches  reveal. This week's sketch is an original done by our very own Nanne' Harry.

I was able to convert it into a two-page layout and I love how it turned out. This is my precious daughter in law Lexie during her maternity photo shoot last month.

This paper was perfect for my pictures. Can you see the love birds watching over their eggs? Sooooo adorable!

Have a fabulous and blessed weekend!
