Calgon, Take Me Away!

Good morning and happy Monday!  I just got back from Treasured Memories in Lafayette, Louisiana from a big crop.  What a wonderful time we had!  Whenever Janet, the owner of TM, and I get together, we love to collaborate on layout designs.  The other ladies refer to us a "Team Genius".  Many times Janet chooses the papers and titles and then I put the layout together.

Here is "Team Genius" showing off a layout in progress.

But as you might expect, it's not always a bed of roses and sometimes one of us crosses the boundaries of cooperation.  Here I am trying to keep Janet & Connie away from my layout.  You can probably tell that their colaboration is not appreciated at this time!

And when Janet added a clock and some other things that I was not so fond of to a layout, I slightly repositioned them.

So here is my solution to this problem; Calgon Bath Beads.  Their slogan is "Calgon, take me away!"  Whenever she got too close I would whip out the box and say "Calgon, take her away!".

Here she is in her impromptu cardboard bathtub after getting too close just one too many times!  (And she still manages to keep a smile on her face.)

Here is a group photo of all of the lovely ladies in attendance this past weekend.

Thanks for visiting my blog today.  Tomorrow I will demo a new product that I used for the first time this past weekend.  Until then, have a wonderful and blessed day!

Sportsman's Paradise

Good morning and happy Thursday!  Well, I arrived yesterday to Treasured Memories in Louisiana, absolutely chomping at the bit for a crop starting Friday.

Louisiana is known as the Sportsman's Paradise.  What would be more fitting than a couple of sportsman layouts.  This first one is titled Gone Fishing.

And here we have Hunting Season.

Thanks for visiting my blog today.  I hope too see many of you tomorrow in Lafayette.  Until then, have a wonderful and blessed day!

Layouts of Faith

Good morning and happy Wednesday!  Those of you who know me know that I am  a woman of faith.  My faith is the cornerstone and guiding principle of all aspects of my life.  Here are a couple of layouts with the faith theme.  This first one is My Cup Overflows with Blessings and boy oh boy does it ever!

And this one is titled Words of Faith.

I have picked up a new habit; adult coloring books.  I absolutely love doing them with markers and water colors.  My DH says that if I do one real pretty and stay inside the lines that he'll put it on our refrigerator.  How about this one, sweetie?

Thanks for visiting my blog today.  I am off to Lafayette, Louisiana today to Treasured Memories for an event called "Cropping with Bea".  I plan on having a blast!

Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Gold is Golden

Good morning and happy Monday!  I hope that your weekend was great!

I spent a lovely day Saturday scrapping at the Flying Unicorn in Tallahassee with friends from Florida, Georgia & Alabama (Florgiabama). I've discovered that I really love the color gold and made several layouts with gold in them.  Here is just one.

The doll in this layout was made by Alda, the owner of the store.  She is so amazingly talented.

And here is another layout with gold that I made on Saturday.

Thanks for your visit today.  Have a wonderful and blessed day!

I Love the Zoo!

Happy Thursday! I've been living in Gainesville, Florida for over 4 years now and I just learned about this amazing place called Carson Springs Wildlife Foundation.  They rescue and house exotic animals in distress. They have a lot of animals, but I was especially excited to learn that they have a tiger and a giraffe, since these were the two animals who visited me the last time I was in the hospital under HEAVY sedation (major back surgeries back to back!).
The tiger's name was Anibal.  There was no danger because he had no teeth.  He had lost them because he ate too much candy.
And the giraffes's name was Dora.  She was too big to fit into the room so she stayed in the hallway and stuck her head through the doorway and smiled at me.
Now I can't say for sure that these are the same animals.  Did I mention that I was under HEAVY sedation?
I was so touched by this place that I made this layout!  I can't wait to take my grandchildren there.
Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Happy Birthday, Danny!

Good morning!  Hope your week is going great so far. Our son, Danny, turns 29 years old today and we get to celebrate it with him and his family. It's been a while since we have been together this day because he is usually starting Spring Training far away from us. His new team has him in Florida.
Here's a photo of Danny and his family on the beach in Port Charlotte.
Today's layout is titled "Old Guys Rule".  Now it's not that I think that Danny is old, because he certainly is not! This is merely a new layout that everyone likes.  After all, everyone has "old guys" around.  I even have one who hangs around my house most day.... (hahaha).

Batter Up!

Good morning and happy Tuesday!  Here is the finished product of a kit that I'm offering titled T-Ball.  It brings back memories of days long past watching a bunch of kits swinging a bat at a ball resting on top of a rubber pipe.  I think if I looked hard enough I could find that thing out in the garage.

And here is my all time favorite T-Ball player, then and now.

Family

Good morning and happy Monday!  I hope you had a great weekend and are ready for a new week.

I spent the weekend with my son and his family in Port Charlotte.  They'll be there and in Tampa for the next nine months.  What a great time we're going to have!

Here are a couple layouts about family that were actually kits last month.  I still have a few available for sale.

And here are some great family photos that I took this weekend.  From right to left are Madison 4½, Andrew 4, Carolina 2 and  Landon "The Beast" 5 months.

And here they are all ready for bed.

Aren't they just adorable in their matching jammies?

The Winking Owl

Good morning and happy Thursday!  Hope that your week is going well.

Here are a couple of recent layouts (the second was actually a kit from January) featuring a die-cut winking owl that I just adore!  The pieces are cut out individually and then assembled to make this adorable owl.  You can be sure that you'll be seeing more of them in the future!

Two More Pink and Black Layouts

Good morning and happy Wednesday!  Today I'm finishing up on a few things around the house today so I can go to Port Charlotte, Florida on Thursday to see my son and his family (which includes two grandbabies) who arrive today.  The great thing about it is that I'm taking my other two grandbabies with me.  What a great time we are all going to have.

As promised yesterday, here are a couple more layouts made with pinks and blacks!

Pink & Black

Good morning and happy Tuesday!  Lately I've been in the mood to scrap with pinks and blacks for a friend who loves those colors.  Here are a couple of examples.

I've also used some of my new dies for finely detailed die-cuts like the trees, benches, fences & so on.

Thanks for visiting today.  I'll have another couple of layouts tomorrow.  Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Baby Landon is Happy!

Happy Monday! Hope you had a fabulous weekend and are happy with the outcome of Super Bowl 50. I know one baby who is!

I was thinking that next year while they're having Super Bowl, we can have "Scrapper Bowl".  Who needs footballs to catch when we have Cricuts?

I  updated my blog and made it easier for you guys to see the kits I have for sale. How do you like that girl all in pink filling up her buggy with my amazing kits!

As I told you last week, I am tottally crazy for dies! How do you like the windows on this new layout? There  made with a beautiful Spellbinders die which I bought at JoAnns recently.

Thank you for for stopping by! Come back tomorrow for more inspiration and fun. Be blessed!

Happy Friday!

Happy Friday, dear friends!  This week came and went quickly, don't you think?  I am sooo ready for the weekend because I am planning to scrap 'til I drop! It's going to be a busy month for me as I am planning to visit my son now that he and his family are moving back to Florida.  I will also be babysitting Andrew and Carolina full time when their parents take off for Colorado for a week.

I am addicted to metal dies!!!  I have been buying a ton of them lately.  Do you see all my swirls and leaves? I have the Spellbinder machine right on top of my desk and whenever I need a certain swirl, flower or leaf I just cut them in the color of my layout. Look closely and you will see them.

My friend Jennifer asked me to help her with this layout. Here I used the large swirl from Kaisercraft which I love! Especially if you need to fill up space.

My friend Eileen had this amazing and precious picture of her grandaughter holding her mom's hand during a trip to Austria. She printed it in  5x7. She also found the red coat (Jolee's Stickers) almost identical to the one of the child! She had all the beautiful embellishments, bling and papers.  I did was to put it together for her. They are planning to put it in a shadow box.

It means a lot to me that you keep coming back to visit my blog. It makes me sooooo happy, thank you! God bless you all the days of your life!

It's All About the Title

Good morning and happy Tuesday! I have made a few minor changes to my blog recently. As you will notice, I just have two tabs, one that says HOME and the other one says KITS FOR SALE.  I encourage you to se the kits that I have for sale under this tab.

Here is a layout that I made this past weekend in Alabama with The Hive.  I love the tag that says "Enjoy the Waves".

And this one has a similar beach theme "Time & Tide Wait for No One"

You Are Beautiful

Good morning and happy February!  I hope that you had a great weekend.  I stayed longer with The Hive in Alabama than I had originally planned and didn't get home until late last night.  We all justified this by saying that most husbands appreciate the houses to themselves.

These are two of the layouts that I made using pinks and reds.  Since today is February 1st, we need to get started with Valentine's Day colors and themes!  Don't want to wait until the last minute.

Thanks for visiting my blog today.  Have a wonderful and blessed day!
