I am back!

Good morning and happy Wednesday! I am back after a great trip to Ft. Lauderdale which lasted a little longer than expected. Paper Niche didn't want me to come home and I didn't want to leave them either!!!! Well, until I remembered my husband and Andrew (ha, ha, ha).

I was able to design 16 layouts during the 3-day crop with all the new goodies they got! It was soooooo much fun! This was the first one I made using  the new October Afternoon and MME papers and embellishments.

Don't you just love this ribbon?

Linda  is from Ohio and has been following my blog for a while. She spends two months in the South Florida area during the winter. She was able to attend the crop at the Paper Niche and also fall in love with all the Niche girls.

Okay..... now that I have blogged I am ready to go hug Andrew! Have a great, happy, smiley and blessed day!

Love struck

Happy Friday! It's Die Cut Challenge time at SOUS and today's word is LOVE. These pictures of my son and Madison Rose inspired me to do this layout. Madison started eating solids the week before and I got a chance to feed her while she was visiting us, yeah! She ate it all and wanted more! I used my Cricut Expression to cut out the words I love you and the banners too.

Make sure you stop by http://stuckonusketches.blogspot.com/ and see what the other designers are up to this week. Have a great, fun, safe and blessed weekend!

Happy Thursday!

Good morning! Today I am sharing some of the other goodies I have made for baby Emily Grace.  These things will be at her baby shower and later on in her room.

This bird cage and large frame are from Kaisercraft.

This  house is made out of cardboard. I painted it, covered it with paper and then embellished. They will use it at the baby shower to place the gift cards/money she receives.

Have a great and blessed day!

Baby girl goodies

Good morning! I've been busy making beautiful things for a friend  who is having her first grand baby. These signs will be hung at her hospital room .

I used Prima papers, lace, bling and flowers  for both pieces.

Hope this inspires you to think outside the box and make pretty things besides scrapbook pages! Have a great and blessed day!

Spring is coming....

Good morning and happy Tuesday! For those of you who are going through winter storms... Spring is almost here!

This banner is made out of  flowers which are stamped, embossed in white and then cut out and popped up using the striped paper. The chipboard bird is also embossed.

Have a great and blessed day!

Fifties

Good morning! Do you remember the fifties? I was born in August of 1958 so I don't "remember" anything about those years but I do love  this collection of papers!!!!! I designed this layout for Treasured Memories last time I was there.

Janet came up with the idea to cut out the car and the silhouettes using Nifty Fifties Cricut Cartridge. They really turned out adorable.

Memories and more memories...

Have a great and blessed weekend!

Beach time!

Happy Friday! Time for a beach layout in the middle of February. These papers are  from  "At the Beach" Collection from Moxxie. This is another one of the layouts I designed for Treasured Memories. The palm tree is made out of the coolest burlap ribbon TM carries. .

Twenty five years ago my husband and I were blessed with a baby boy whom we named Daniel Andres. Today he is all grown up, married and a father of a beautiful baby girl. No matter how old he is, he is still our baby! Happy birthday Daniel, we love you!!!!!

Have a great and blessed weekend!

Prima

Happy Thursday!  Hope you are having a great week.  I keep scrappin' and enjoying all of the fabulous new products that are available out there.  Sometimes I get so overwhelmed choosing what to use/do next!  Does this happen to you?  I created this layout while I taught it at the same time at midnight at Treasured Memories the last time I was there.  We giggled soooo much!  This is the fabulous Printery Prima Collection.

We inked, distressed, popped, cut and embellished.

These are some pictures to prove how much fun we had.  You see, I get VERY silly after midnight!

The doily turned out pretty after all, right, Jill and Priscilla?

 Have a blessed day!

Andrew's nap time!

Good morning! I am a guest designer at The Bug Bytes today. I made this layout inspired by this beautiful picture my daughter took of baby Andrew.  I used Baby Steps Cricut Cartridge.

I outlined all the pieces with a fine point black sharpie and stickled the stars.

This layout has a lot of layers of different papers in shades of blue.

And here is Valerie with her precious gift the good Lord blessed her with.  Her Valentine's was amazing!

Have a great and blessed day!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Good morning and Happy Valentine's Day!  I just love celebrating this day of LOVE, don't you?  This layout is filled with sweet, chubby angels. The papers are from the "Sweet Nothings" collection from Kaisercraft.  I literally took the papers apart and put them back together making my own version.  They are layered and many are popped up.

You can see how cute they are in these close-up pictures.

I have my own little angels around!  Madison Rose and Andrew can't fly, but they sure can sit together for a minute or two so we can take a picture!

Grandpa Steve decided to buy a disco ball for the grand kids. When it's time to sleep, he turns the lights down low, puts on smooth oldies like The Platters, The Spaniels and The Duprees and dances them to sleep.  They love the moving lights!  Madison Rose discovered the noise a tin foil plate makes and added this to her toy collection.

Have a great, fun, sweet, loving and blessed day!

Love is in the air...

Good morning! Hope you had a lovely weekend. This is another layout I made using  Shabby Love Collection from Harmonie. I love pinks and browns together. I still have to make a title and it will be around the circle on the left side.

This pretty chipboard dress form is very feminine with lace, tulle and roses.

I spent the weekend in Dothan, Alabama with amazing friends scrappin'  and celebrating Valentine's Day.

We always have a great time when we get together. I got to see baby Mary Kate and her cousin Shelby. Mary Kate is about to be a year old on the 24th of this month. Time flies!

Have a great and blessed day!

You've Got Mail!

Good morning...is it Friday already?  Here we are again at Stuck On Us Sketches with a new challenge this week: "You've Got Mail".  I had the perfect pictures for it.  Madison Rose, my grand-baby, received some Christmas presents in the mail and these pictures were taken on Christmas morning.

I cut out the hand delivering mail with the Sentimental Cricut Cartridge.  I love this picture of Madison and Grandpa Steve.  She is looking at him as if she understood what he was telling her. Sooo cute!

These are note cards with loving words for Madison when she grows up.

Stop by  SOUS  for some inspiration from other designers and we also invite you to submit your project for this challenge.

Have a great and blessed weekend!

Happy Thursday!

Good morning! Hope you are having a great week. I found these beautiful papers at Treasured Memories in Lafayette and I knew I had to have them. This collection is called Shabby Love from Harmonie. The red circle is from My Little Yellow Bicycle and the tag "my little princess" is from MME.

This is Teresa Collin's  Celebrate Collection and it is perfect for boy or girl. I cut out the red frames with the Fancy Frames Cricut cartridge.

Have a happy and blessed day!

She's a Sassy Lady Wednesday

Good morning! It's my turn again to design for She's a Sassy Lady.  Even though I recently got the Cricut Imagine, I'm waiting for my husband to learn it and then teach me.  Until then, I'll keep using my Cricut Expression which I dearly love.

This layout was inspired by the Melissa Frances die cuts.  I used the Cricut From My Kitchen cartridge for the word "kitchen", the Quarter Note cartridge for the word "diva", the Forever Young cartridge for the lady and the Nifty Fifties cartridge for her apron.

Thank you, Sheila, for this awesome site filled with inspiration.  Have a wonderful and blessed day.

Love is in the air....

Good morning! February is all about pinks, reds, hearts and love, right? Here is a layout filled with all of them! I had lots of fun embellishing it with tons of ribbons and flowers.

These stickers are embossed. I used lots of pop dots to give them even more dimension.

These flowers are made out of fabric.

Have a great and blessed Tuesday!

Graphic 45 Tropical Travelogue

Happy Monday!  Hope you had a restful and fabulous weekend.  Don't you just love Graphic 45?  They come up with the coolest designs ever!  This is their Tropical Travelogue Collection. It reminds me of the old travel brochures to exotic places.  I got my hands on it and designed this layout for Paper Niche.

I did a lot of cutting, popping up and "stickling" as you can see here. Love the colors, so rich and vibrant.

Remember "Where's Waldo"?  Well, my daughter started a new game called "Where's Andrew?", taking pictures of her new baby in random places.  Andrew went on his first outing with his mommy and daddy to lunch yesterday at "The Swamp", a local eatery near the University of Florida. After lunch they walked across the street to the university and found a statue of the UF mascot, an alligator!

We've also "found" Andrew in a bookcase, on a dog bed & on top of a piano!  Who knows where he'll end up next?

Have a great, happy and blessed day!
