Happy Wednesday!

Good morning!  Have you started cooking yet?  I will start later on today.  We are gathering at Valerie's in-laws' home in Jacksonville, Florida and the nicest thing about it is that I do not have to cook an entire meal but just bring three side dishes.  I love it!  Actually, one of the side dishes is the cranberries.  I wish someone had taken a picture of my face the first (and only) time I tried them back in November of 1976.  I did my best to be polite to our hosts, but I did not like them!

Here are a couple of layouts.  The first one is about family because that is what is most important in life.

This one is a mixture of two of my favorite colors to mix; green and purple.

Hope that you liked these two layout.  Have a wonderful and blessed day and make certain that the smoke detector in your kitchen has a fresh battery!

You Rock!

Good morning!  Isn't this an exciting week?  Thanksgiving... Black Friday... long weekend.... family and friends.  What else could we ask for?  My daughter and I have a tradition every year... we shop 'til we drop on Black Friday!  We have so much fun running from one place to another, buying 5 dollar items and watching the crowds go mad for electronics and toys!

My DH, who works in retail, would rather sleep in.  He says that the only enjoyable part of his day is at 4:30 am when he walks right past the line of people waiting to get into the store.  He can always count on somebody yelling "Hey, buddy, the end of the line is back there!"  He'll take something out of his pocket, wave it and say "I got an Early Bird pass" and walk straight into the store.

Today's layout has my favorite banners on the left and on the right.  The papers are from My Mind's Eye.  I just love pink, red and aqua together.

Have a wonderful and blessed day filled with the joy and strength of the Lord!

Happy Monday!

Good morning!  Hope you had a lovely weekend.  I spent mine scrapping and also had a dinner date my husband on Saturday!  We had been given a gift card to a nice restaurant in town so we took advantage of it.  We were kind of thinking that we would be able to go out two times with this gift card, but one look at the menu told us otherwise.  So we decided to split a dessert and leave a nice tip for our server.

Today's layouts are about Dad, Mom, and Grandpa.

I love the wood grain papers in this first one.  They're masculine enough for me to sneak in a few flowers.

And even though it's not the season, here are some pretty Spring colors for Mom.

And Grandpa gets some lovely greens to go with his hounds tooth and polka dots.

Have a fabulous and blessed day, giving thanks for all of the abundance God has bestowed upon each one of us.

More Layouts from the Weekend

Happy Thursday!  Here are two more layouts which I made last weekend.  I loved making this one with the silverware.  It's perfect for pictures of your Thanksgiving dinner. The large spoons are made out of wood.  I found them at Hobby Lobby. The other silverware is made out of antique looking metal.

I still love my girls!

Thank you for stopping by!  Have a fabulous and blessed day.

More Hexagons!

Good morning!  Remember my new hexagon punches that I told you about yesterday?  Well, here's another layout I made with them.  I used the large and the extra large and layered them.

All of these layouts were made over the weekend while scrapping with the Hive.  I will post the rest of the weekend layouts tomorrow.

I just love this bench and lamp post.  I imagine myself sitting on this bench smelling the flowers!

Thank you for stopping by!  Come back tomorrow for more layouts filled with flowers and love. Until then, have a wonderful and blessed day!

Fabulous Day!

Good morning!  In every blog post I ask you to have a fabulous and blessed day.  Well, here it is finally.  A layout with just that title.  I found a Fiskars punch that has three sizes of hexagons and I am having a blast with it!  What do you think?

Have a fabulous and blessed day!

Happy Monday!

Good morning, dear friends!  Hope you had a lovely weekend.  Mine was amazing as it was spent in Dothan, Alabama with the most lovable HIVE in the whole wide world.  We scrapped for two days nonstop and made some cool layouts.  I will be sharing those with you on Wednesday and Thursday of this week.

These two layouts were among some of the kits I designed this month.  These titles are very popular as most of us have these special people in our lives and photos of them that we'd like to share.

I have some great news!  I am having another Christmas Blog Hop with Veronica from Kits n Bits Scraps

We will be posting one project on each of the four Sundays before Christmas, starting Sunday December 1st.  Then on Christmas morning we will announce the winner.  There will be more details over the next couple of weeks so be on the lookout and be ready to play along!

Have a wonderful and blessed Monday!

Fall Layouts

Happy Friday!  Are you ready for the weekend?  I sure am!  I am on my way to Alabama to spend the weekend with the Hive and scrap our hearts out non-stop!

If you love Fall as much as I do I am sure you have taken lots and lots of pictures so here are a few layouts to inspire you today.

We took Andrew to the pumpkin patch and he had so much fun!  Here he's picking out a small one.

Here he's giving a kiss to a bigger one!

And here he's getting ready to sit down on an even bigger one.

Have a wonderful and blessed weekend!

Christmas Layouts

Good morning!  All year I thought I wasn't going to make any Christmas layouts before December 1st, but I was wrong!  I've been asked to design some of them already and here they are!

I made this one for Treasured Memories.  (I actually made it back in July!)

I made this one for A Scrap in Time.

And this one is for Everything Scrapbook and Stamps.

Oh, well.  Maybe next year.

Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Bunnies in November!?

Good morning!  OK, I know that it's not anywhere near Easter, but I just had to design this layout because of some photos I received of a birthday party my granddaughter attended.

When it comes to kids' birthday parties I've heard of hiring a clown or a magician or renting a bounce house or a pony, but this one is a new one for me; rabbits!!!

With all of the kids sitting on the floor, they bring in a bunch (or is it a herd? ... a flock? ... a gaggle?) of rabbits and let them loose.  The kids then get to play with the rabbits.  It actually sounds like a lot of fun!

My DH says that they probably started the party with just two rabbits and then let nature take its course.

Uh oh!  Here's Madison checking out what she thinks might be a chocolate covered peanut!  HOLD ON, GIRL!!!  You might be allergic to peanuts or chocolate!

Hope you enjoyed this layout and the photos.  Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Generations

Happy Tuesday!  I am sure that you've noticed that I love to play with different collections and mix and match them.  I used Graphic 45 and Teresa Collins papers to make this layout. The flowers are from Prima, Petaloo and Recollections.

Have a great and blessed day!

Welcome Monday!

Good morning!  Hope you had a lovely weekend.  The weather around here has been amazing ... cool but sunny.  Yesterday in the late afternoon we prayed over a parcel of land our church has just purchased for our new location.  It was great to see so many people, especially young college students participate in this event.

The titles of my layouts today are perfect for the pictures taken today!

Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Friends Layouts

Happy Thursday!  Hope you are having a great week so far.  Have you been enjoying the cooler weather?  I sure have, especially when I take baby Andrew for his afternoon walks.  It's been a little windy and he thinks the trees are dancing!  He is so cute!

Today's layouts are all about friends. Hope you enjoy all the ideas and techniques in each one of them.  I sure love making them!

Have a blessed day!

Giddy Up!

Good morning!  I've been getting a lot of requests for cowboy themed layouts.  Yee Hah!!!  Here's one of them.

My granddaughter Madison Rose is an All-American Cowgirl!  She can ride a Merry-Go-Round with the best of them ...

... or her favorite pony at Remlinger Farms outside of Seattle!

Have a fabulous and blessed Wednesday!

Girly girl layouts!

Happy Tuesday! Today's layouts are all about girls.  I have to give all the credit to Steve for my fabulous Tim Holtz butterfly on the right side. He made a masterpiece making it look like stained glass.  He used alcohol inks on clear film for the wings and thin craft wire for the antennae. Of course, the picture does not give justice to the colors and how cool it is.

I designed these two layouts for A Scrap in Time. This first one has three of the Julie Nutting Prima girls.

This Kitchen Goddess was cut out with the Cricut.

Hope you enjoy all my girls today. Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Born to be Wild!

Good morning!  Hope you had a great and restful weekend.  My husband and I had a great time at A Scrap in Time in Crestview, Florida.  Everyone enjoyed Steve's Cricut Workshop  and I was able to design 16 new kits for them!  We were posting them on Facebook and most of them were gone before they were even packed.

Today's layouts are all about wildlife.

Hope you enjoy them.

And here is Andrew enjoying some wildlife at the St. Louis Zoo.   What is it that they say?  "You're going to have to kiss an awful lot of toads before you meet your princess."

Have a wonderful and blessed Monday!
