Page Kits & Pre-Made Layouts Going on Sale!

Good morning and happy Tuesday!  As we get ready for Spring, we've decided to put 30 some page kits and pre-made layouts on sale.  Many of these are "one-off's" and others are kits that we just made too many of.

We will be adding a new permanent tab to the web site just for the items on sale.  We will be adding more items to this tab from time to time so you'll want to visit the site periodically to check on what's been added.

There will be an e-mail announcement sent out later today when it goes live on our web site.  Be on the lookout for it!

Here are just a few of the kits that will be "on sale".

I look forward to hearing from you once the change to the web site goes "live".  Have a wonderful and blessed day.

Coffee Lover

Good morning and happy Wednesday!  Are you a coffee lover?  I must admit that I am.  I will drink one YETI tumbler of coffee every morning.  My sweet husband makes it for me before he leaves for work so whenever I get up, it's still nice and warm.  I just can't get going in the morning without my coffee.

I also love making coffee layouts.  Echo Park has this new paper line called Coffee Collection. At first I was not sure of the colors but once I got into it and started adding my own embellishments I loved it.  I plan on making page kits in the near future, but right now I'm still playing.  Here are a few originals that are for sale on my web site as Pre-Made Layouts.

Thanks for visiting my blog today.  I hope that you're enjoying your coffee while you're here!  Have a wonderful and blessed day.

Mixed-Media Journal

Good morning! I spent most of the day yesterday taking another mixed-media class at Cootie Coo Creations in High Springs, Florida. Our teacher was Terry Pattie. She is amazing and I enjoy learning from her, she is a fantastic teacher!

It takes about 3 hours to do two pages like this. Each page has about 10 or more layers of paint, stamps, inks, pan pastels, papers, etc, etc, etc.

Voila! This is the end result.

Another talented dear friend (Debbie Cox) made me this beautiful hand-crocheted cover for my bible. I love the colors!!!!

I love to share all of my projects with you because there's sooooo much talent out there!!!!

Thanks for visiting today.  Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Tea Party Crop

Happy Monday! Hope that you had a fabulous weekend and that your favorite football team won the Super Bowl.  I spent Saturday croppin' at Paula Luvs 2 Stamp located in Wildwood, Florida.  She hosted a Tea Party Crop and we all got to wear hats.  Since I did not have one.  I went to several stores and even the Goodwill to find one.

The ones that I found were way too expensive so I decided to make my own. I borrowed a simple straw hat from my neighbors's little daughter and used vintage flowers, laces, rhinestones, pearls, ribbons and anything else I could find in my Shabby Chic boxes. Guess what? I won!!!

Here I am with Paula and my friend Jean.

And here I am with my winning hat!

My prize was a goody bag full of scrapping supplies!

And here's a layout of mine where I can scrap all of the pictures from the tea party.

Now, of course, I brought the hat home with me and hung it up in my studio.  You never know when I'm going to need some of the lace or ribbon for a layout!

Thanks for visiting my blog today.  Have a wonderful and blessed day.

Baseball News

Good morning! Finally,  today is the last day of January. My calendar says day 31 but I think it should say day 745. It seems like January went on forever and a day!

Well, it's finally official. Our son Danny will be playing for the Yankees this upcoming baseball season. This is what he posted on his Instagram:

I know that it has been the Lord Almighty who healed him and the power of prayer and love from everyone. We are soooo super happy for him! He will be at Spring Training in Tampa which is only 2 hours from us so we get to see him and his family for 6 long weeks.

The Weekend is Over

Happy Monday everyone! Hope you had a lovely and restful weekend. It's been very cold and rainy over here so I got a chance to play a little in my studio inspired after a Mixed-Media class I took  at Cootie Coo Creations in High Springs on Saturday.

Here I am with our instructor Terry Peattie.

And here is what I made at home all by myself. It's been a good change to play with other mediums. I loved every minute of it.

Thanks for visiting today.  Have a wonderful and blessed day!

It Will Always Be Dunkin' Donuts to Me

Good morning and Happy Friday!  Have you heard?  Dunkin' Donuts has "kinda" shortened their name to just Dunkin'.  I say "kinda" because the stores (at least here in Gainesville) still say Dunkin' Donuts and their website is still www.dunkindonuts. com.  Check out the photo below.  The box is still Dunkin' Donuts.

Anyhow, I previously mentioned that we had our two grandchildren over the weekend while their parents were in Colorado.  Andrew plays basketball on Saturday morning and this weekend he won a medal.  As a reward, his dad said that I could buy them donuts.  (Normally I have to do this on the sly and would never put a picture like the one below on Facebook.)

Boy, do I have a layout for this picture.  Here it is, sprinkles and everything!!!

So thanks for stopping by today!  Have a wonderful and blessed day.

Happy Birthday, Ki

Good morning and happy Wednesday.  Yesterday we celebrated our last January birthday.  Our granddaughter, Carolina, turned 5.  Here she is with the "family tradition" birthday hat.

We can put the hat away for a month.  In February it comes out again for our son and also our son-in-law.

Here's my latest Happy Birthday kit, still available for purchase on my website.

Cold Front Again

Happy Monday! Hope you all had an amazing weekend.  For many of us, it's not over yet as many have today off in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr.. Today we will be getting down into the 30's.  For those of you further north, this may seem like balmy weather, but to us it's cold!

Our daughter and her husband took advantage of the extra long weekend and went to Vail, Colorado to ski while Andrew and Carolina (their babies) spent this time with us.  It's been soooo much fun having them all to ourselves!

I made a few winter related layouts inspired by Valerie's pictures in the snow. Here they are:

(Are they skiing in their jammies???)

And here are the layouts.

All of these layouts are available as kits from my website.  Click here to get there and see them.

Thanks for visiting today!  Have a wonderful and blessed day.  Keep warm!

Fast Food Lover

Good morning and happy Wednesday!  Yesterday, my husband received a package from our son & his family for his birthday.  It was a cooler that contained everything to make Portillo's famous Chicago dogs.  And by everything, I mean everything!  There was everything from the authentic beef sausage to the "radioactive" green relish, pickle spears, hot peppers, onion, tomato, special mustard and Rosen's fresh poppy seed rolls.  There was even a shaker of their famous celery salt and a server's hat, which he wore all evening.

When Steve was a kid, Portillo's was based out of a small trailer stand not far from where he grew up.  By the time he was in high school, they had moved into a building.  Steve and his friends would go there after basketball games to enjoy their 29¢ hot dogs.  Today Portillo's is all over the Midwest with about 60 restaurants.  Every time we're in the Chicago area, we have to make a stop for a Chicago dog.

So here's where the pictures I took of him yesterday are going.  In fact this is one of the new kits of mine that will be released later this week.

Steve already has plans for the other 9 hot dogs.  It's a good thing that I don't like pickles & hot peppers.  There's more for him.  Ketchup, you ask?  In the words of Dirty Harry, "No one, and I mean no one, puts ketchup on a hot dog."

Have a wonderful and blessed hot diggity dog day!

Hello again

I am back! It's been a very busy and hectic week filled with birthdays, doctors, etc, etc, etc. and no time for me to sit and write! Well, I truly believe I am back to normal now and all is in order. Even our new website is running so smoothly! I am so excited about that. By the way, have you seen the new item we added yesterday?

It's a 3-piece set that includes a workspace table cover and two bags.  There are dragonflies, dogs, cats, flamingos and more.  Here I am with mine!

They were made by my cousin who is raising money for her foundation that works with cancer children and their families in her hometown of Merida, Venezuela.  The foundation is named after her daughter who left this world as a young lady.  Very sad.

We are donating the proceeds of all of the sales of this item to her foundation.  To see the selection, click on the "Special Items" tab at amazinggracepapercrafts.com.  I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks for visiting my blog today.  Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Birthday Weekend

Good morning and happy Tuesday.  This has been a busy weekend for birthdays.  My cousin from Venezuela had hers on Friday and we all went out for a very nice dinner.  Yesterday was my grandson Andrew's birthday and we went to his favorite Mexican restaurant.  Today is my husband's & I don't know where we'll be going.  Maybe we'll stay at home and eat leftovers!

Here is Andrew last night at dinner wearing the restaurant's birthday sombrero.

Here are my cousin, me and my husband.  My husband is wearing the "Family Tradition" birthday hat which Andrew had on before they brought him the sombrero.  My cousin wore it on Friday and my husband gets to wear it again tonight!  Then it goes back onto the shelf until Carolina's birthday on the 22nd.

Here are two recent layouts of mine.  Somehow I'm going to have to combine them into one layout for the photos from last night!

Thanks for visiting my blog today.  Have a wonderful and blessed day and don't eat too much birthday cake and don't splash hot sauce on it either!

Lots of Snow

Good morning! I woke up thinking today was Tuesday but it's already Thursday and it's also 2019!  I have been very distracted lately playing with the kids and also putting back the house in order.

Andrew and Carolina are being raised by very active parents. They are taken skiing twice a year and they both love it. Here they are last week in North Carolina

These rosy cheeks just melt my heart!

Of course I already made the perfect layout for many of their pictures. It is also a kit available for your winter pictures.

In case you missed the good news lately, we finally have an official website. It's called "Amazing Grace Paper Crafts" and here is the link: https://www.amazinggracepapercrafts.com/  .  You can place your kit orders there directly.

Have a fabulous and blessed day!
