A day with the CRICUT!

Blame it on being by myself day after day until about 7 pm...... this is what happens when your children are grown, married and gone and you are living in a town totally new to you!!!!!! The truth now.... I have a new customer who wants an 80 page album for her new baby. The Christmas layout is the one I am teaching at Treasured Memories in Lafayette next weekend. I've had lots of fun making these pages and what I love to do the most is the detailing!

Cricut Christmas Village

I finished a bunch of  houses using "My Community" Cricut Cartridge. I converted  the school, the bank, the candy store and the ginger bread house into a Christmas Village. I used my QuicKutz (remember those???) to make the candy canes, the round candy and other embellishments. I also bought Jollee's sleigh full of presents.I used "Christmas Cheer" cartridge to write Happy Holydays. It was fun!

My first Christmas vintage page!

Okay... I finished my first vintage page. It is a different look than what I am use to but I think it looks pretty. The pictures never give justice to the work and the embellishments, I used metal, laces, 4 different papers, etc. I also bought my first Martha Stewart large edge punch with a 40% coupon at Michael's this morning. It is awesome... can't wait to start using it!

Christmas is in the air!

I stopped at Michael's today and I thought I was going to faint.... they were setting up all the new Christmas lines and I must say "they are to die for"!!!!! I bought a set of vintage die-cuts and made two cards and a few pages which I will post later on this week. Oh my... I think I am in trouble! Please Lord, remove the lust of my eyes!!!!!
