Classes at ESS

Good morning! These are the two layouts I taught yesterday at Everything Scrapbook & Stamp in Lake Worth, Florida.  This first one is from the Prima Lyric collection.

I just love the details and the colors of these papers and embellishments.

This second one is from Splash of Color.  This layout was a big hit because there is an old lighthouse at Jupiter Inlet, about half an hour north of ESS.  The one pictured in this paper is the famous Cape Hatteras, NC lighthouse, known for its "barber pole" striping and red brick base.

Between classes we celebrated Cinco de Mayo with chips & guasacaca (the Venezuelan version of guacamole).  Here is Michelle doing her impression of the "Tostito Bandito".

Have a wonderful and blessed day.

Babies

Good morning!  Here are a couple of layouts I designed for pregnancy photographs.  Since ultra-sound imagery allows us to know the gender of the child early, I made one in blue for boys...

... and one in pink for the girls!  As you can see, they're both very similar except for the color.

This is a layout for little boys. I designed it for A Scrap In Time in Crestview, Florida.  It's all based on a sailboat theme.

Have a wonderful, safe and blessed weekend.  I look forward to seeing you on Monday.

Remember and Fleur de Lis

Good morning!  Here are a couple more layouts I designed for Treasured Memories. This first one has a little bit of everything.  My DH calls it a "garage sale"!  There's no accounting for taste!

Both layouts feature the fleur de lis.  This is a very important symbol in the Louisiana area.  It was brought to the region by the early French settlers.

This simple banner is made with paper and twine.

This second layout also features the fleur de lis, but has darker and more somber colors.

Here are some close-ups of the fleur de lis.

Hope you have enjoyed these.  Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Escape

Happy May!  Is this year flying or what?

Here is a layout that I designed for Treasured Memories.  It has a Hawaiian look to it with the flowers and the palm tree.

How often we dream of escaping to a tropical paradise for a few days.

I can't get enough of netting, especially when it comes in such great colors.

Have a terrific and blessed day!
