Happy Friday! When my friend Cassia was here last week we decided to play with the new Webster pages.
It took us an entire day to make this layout....let me explain, she is the QUEEN of "interactive' pages. In this layout there are 18 pictures, can you believe that? You can visit her site at Scrapbooking Bug for more of her fabulous work.
This fence is a mini-book which opens on the side (green ribbon). It is glued on top of the page protector. This is why I could not take it out to take a better picture.
This is what you see when you open it.
And open it some more....
And keep opening and you will find a 4 x 6 mini album!
This is the last page under the fence mini album. Isn't this cool?
We also made a mini book on the left page. This was a lot simpler...
I also made this one using Prima papers. The colors are very bright and happy.
Both layouts hold one of my tags. I wanted to show one of their many ways to use them during my class.
Have a blessed and fabulous weekend!

It's a new day in our family....
It's a new day in the Farquhar-Guzman family ... our son Danny was traded yesterday. Yes, it sounds awful, doesn't it? But it's not as bad as it sounds as he is doing great in his Baseball career. Danny will now play for the Oakland Athletics instead of the Toronto Blue Jays. The first thing he asked me was if I could work with his new team's colors - green and gold. I said yes! We wish him well and I pray the Lord's favor will be upon him all the days of his life.
I got to play a little in Lafayette and I made this layout using the fabulous BoBunny's Olivia Collection.
These swirls are made out of light wood from a company based in Australia called Dusty Attic. Treasured Memories sells them so I stocked up on several of their fabulous designs.
Life can change in an instant! Plans can be changed in a twinkling of an eye....I say to you and to myself today: make sure you do not take your loved ones for granted. Tell them how much you love them! Have a blessed and fabulous day!

Blogging rocks! I have a story to tell....
Happy Wednesday everyone! Hope you are having a great week so far. I have so much to share with you today! First of all, this is the card I made for the Pink Elephant Challenge using images from the Pink Cat Studio. Stop by the http://thepinkelephantchallenge.blogspot.com/ to check out more fabulous cards.
I started a swap with my friend Jenny from My ImaJennation about a year ago. She lived in South Carolina and I lived in South Florida. Later on we both moved, I came to Dothan, Alabama, and she moved to Crestview, Florida. We started writing again and realized we were only a little over an hour away from each other! We decided to meet at her local scrapbook store since it was on my way to Louisiana (I-10). Well, we finally met in person and I must tell you she is as gorgeous outside as she is inside! My friend Cassia and I fell in love with her.... she is also VERY talented! She teaches several classes and also sells her kits at A Scrap in Time.
I also got to meet Lisa, the owner of A Scrap in Time, and Laura. They are both very nice, friendly and fun! The store is adorable, it actually was Lisa's home when she grew up, so it has a lot of sentimental value for her.
They invited me to be one of their teachers! My first class there will be on Saturday, Dec 11 at 9 am and I will be teaching Tag Art, the same class I just taught in Lafayette. The tags will be different ones though.
Come and visit if you live in the area! Make sure you become their follower as they have awesome drawings quiet often. Their link is here.
See why I love blogging? You never know who is on the other side and what amazing friendship is going to be developed while we share what we love. Have a blessed and fabulous day!

Weekend at Treasured Memories in Lafayette
Hello everyone! I am back from a fabulous weekend at Treasured Memories in Lafayette, Louisiana. Here is a slide show with pictures from my class last Friday afternoon. I taught the Art Tags, everyone loved them!
Donna Downey taught on Saturday and Sunday. Her classes were amazing! Here are some great pictures of both days.
This is the new location of Treasured Memories. Janet's face lit up when she saw me on Friday morning and that made me feel so loved!
Janet and Paula have been my precious friends ever since I went to Lafayette for the first time 5 years ago when I dropped my son off at college.
Donna is such a sweetheart! She brought along her beautiful daughter Payton to celebrate her 9th birthday. It was a lovely mother-daughter weekend.
Payton and I had a lot of fun making pages. She's a very creative young lady, a regular "chip off the old block"!
Thank you Treasured Memories for a fabulous weekend, one that I will treasure forever. See you in February!

I brought her a wooden chair to decorate. Here's the before ...
