Bottle-caps art and baby page

Good morning! Today I made this fun and easy project for She's a Sassy Lady called bottle-caps art. All you need is bottle-caps, tacky glue, glossy accents and your favorite photos, papers, buttons and/or bling.

They are very simple to make. Punch out your paper/photo to fit your bottle-cap. You can add glossy accents for  a shiny look. Embellish to taste and voila! They make great embellishments and you can make them in advance with your scraps and have them ready when you crop.

I went to visit Mary Kate yesterday and since my head is still on a Tilt-A-Whirl I was only able to do one layout. I went into her mom's AMAZING stuff (she is the bling queen!) and this is what I made for her newborn album

Mary Kate's mom bought the "twinkle twinkle" bling at the dollar bin in Michael's. Love them! The stars are made out of chipboard and then embossed with glitter embossing powder. Doilies are a must, of course!

Good morning! Spring is in the air and so is pollen, my ears are making my head explode,  and my pages for my grand-baby-to-be- are starting to pile up! (all of that in one sentence...wow!!!).

I made these two layouts using several 12" Quickutz dies (tree, branch, vine, deer). My friend Linda brought a cart full of them to our crop on Saturday and we all had so much fun cutting many beautiful things.

I found myself doodling around the frame of the picture, it really makes them stand out. I LOVE polka dots and gingham so I combined them both. Have a fabulous, blessed and joyful day in the Lord!

TGIMonday! Did I just make that up? I love Mondays...a new week I get to post and share with all of you!

This is Caroline, she came from Michael's ($1.99) and she is made out of wood. I made her while my friends and I were croppin' on Saturday. I wanted to do something special for them so I held a raffle and someone whom I love very much got to take her home.

When I got home and took pictures of my pages I noticed that  two of my layouts were also inspired by my friends!

This next one has pictures of fabulous women whom I've met during my classes in different places. The writing on the right is from Teresa Collins.

I made this pirate page for a sweet little boy who is turning 4 next week and he loves pirates. I used "Paper Dolls Dress Up" (boat and pirate) and "Life is a Beach" (mermaid) Cricut Cartridges. The waves and the treasure map are dies from Quickutz. The papers are from Hobby Lobby.

Good morning!  Today is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it!  And it is Friday again!  I have so much to share with you today.  First of all, check out Mary Kate's panties.  Is she a princess or what?! (Mary Kate is my friend Karen's baby.)  I told her I need one of these for my grand-baby-to-be!!!

This is the layout I am teaching today at Hobby Lobby.  I am making it into a series of 3 classes.  There are so many people wanting to scrap heritage/old pictures that just don't know where to start. I am using  the "Timepiece" Collection from BoBunny.  Check out the LARGE key on the left. It's made out of chipboard.  Don't you just love it?

My friend Peggy came over yesterday and we played all day.  We were both scrapping "ring ceremony" pictures.  This is my version called "Uniquely You" and this is my precious niece Gabriela.

 This is Peggy's version; "Life as a Junior".  And this is her handsome son Brandon.

She had these pictures of her great niece so we got busy with "Life is a Beach" cricut cartridge and an hour later this is what we made!  Isn't she an adorable "sailor girl"?.

I have a secret to share ... shhhhh ... Peggy loves flowers. That container she's holding is FILLED with them. This is what she crops with when she is out of the house.  She has even more in her studio!!!
