Inspired in Dothan, Alabama already!

It's been almost a week since I arrived in Dothan, Alabama and it seems as if I have been forever! My studio is all set up and today was the first time I was inspired to go in there and play with my  things. I made this two pages using 18 squares. Each one of them is scrapped individually and I tried to capture "my new life" in them, making the center one have the date I moved here. I also used the new tiny Maya Road chipboards -tress, birds and bird cages, wings- they are adorable! I embossed, glittered, distressed, layered, colored and played for many hours, it was fun!
I also finished the second altered book I will take to my class in Lafayette next month. As I said before, I want to have a few of them going around from table to table so people get inspired and get ideas for their own books. I will start on the third one in a little while.
