Paper Niche Sketch Challenge
Today Paper Niche (http://paperniche.blogspot.com/) posted their very first Sketch Challenge and it was perfect for my "thousand" wedding pictures I still have to scrap! I used Martha Stewart's papers which matched the color of my top. The large parenthesis is a big chipboard piece from "Technique Tuesday".
The Women Ministry at our church hosted a dinner last night celebrating Missions. Our Church chose the country of "Venezuela" since they support missionaries there. I am the only native from Venezuela at our church so they asked me to bring something from my home country. I brought my wedding dress and my grandmother's hand made embroidered tablecloth. I also cooked my grandmother's "chicken pie" recipe. Steve wrote the word Venezuela with pastry on the pie! Someone asked me if I still fit on my dress and I laughed.... today, after looking at the picture of me standing by the dress33 years later I laugh again....
