Thank you!
Gigi from "Gigi's Creative Designs" at http://www.gigiscreativedesigns.blogspot.com/ gave me this award. I am so honored! At the same time I have something to share: I am terrible at following the instructions of the awards BECAUSE I would nominate everyone I know in the blogging world! I think you all are very talented and just the fact that you are willing to share your creations with others make you worthy of an award! Again, thank you.
Happy Scrapping!!!!
As I told you yesterday, I started EARLY celebrating Scrapbooking Day...... today we have been having so much fun!!!! I got a chance to finish two other amazing challenges. One is for "Scrap it with a song" http://scrapitwithasong.blogspot.com. The song this week is called "Once upon a dream" by Emily Osment. The word is beautiful and I chose for the title of my page "This dance would last forever all time". I used Webster pages and their beautiful Bloomers and Prima papers, flowers and swirls. This is my son dancing with his beautiful bride.
The other page that I did today is the "Scrap Challenge" at the Pink Elephant http://thepinkelephantchallenge.blogspot.com/. You needed to use chipboard and paint. I used both. I also used the gorgeous Webster pages and cool embellishments such as the handmade net using twine.
Everyone had so much fun! Baby LT destroyed a roll of paper towels and the adults played with googly eyes.

The Pink Elephant Challenge
Wow..... a friend of mine just told me that I have been chosen to be in their design team!!!!!! I am sooo honored! The Pink Elephant Challenge (http://thepinkelephantchallenge.blogspot.com/) is a beautiful blog owned by Lori Boyd.
Their goal is to inspire you to use all those fun tools that the craft world has to offer, to provide you with a place to learn new techniques and styles, try them for yourself, then showcase them weekly by joining their Monday Challenges. This is Ella the Pink Elephant. She is so cute!

Scrapbooking week!!!!!!
I started the celebrations early this year.... I have been scrappin' with some friends at Paper Moon since yesterday. Since I have no more albums or room for them I decide to catch up with my pictures and scrap them flat. This first one is not a flattering picture of me but it is very meaningful. On Christmas eve I wore "presents" jammies and told my husband "I am it"!. He loved it.... My quote reads: "the secret of a happy marriage remains a secret" (ha, ha, ha).
We visited Northern Alabama. We saw Covered Bridges and Canyons among other beautiful things.
My sister and niece volunteer at Respect Life. When I visited them last month they gave me a tour of their facilities. She won an award for her hard and committed labor. I am so proud of them.
This one is a "canvas double page" I made for a friend I swap with every month. I painted the canvas then added some quilted squares and embellish them. I also made the flowers. She loved it.
Challenges, Sketches and more pages
Wee Memories' challenge this week is "flowers". You can follow them here: http://suchins.blogspot.com/.
Here is my layout. I took these pictures during the "Azalea Dogwood Trail" in Dothan, Alabama. It was so pretty and colorful, young girls dressed up in southern gowns in their yards..... I used the new Prima flowers and papers, they are so yummy!

Creative Scrapper's sketch this week is from July Gaceta.
You can see it here: http://www.creativescrappers.blogspot.com/
This is my take on the sketch. I used Nikki Sivil's papers.
I got a chance to play with my "Basic Grey Green at Heart" Dollie and papers again. I stitched some ribbon flowers for this layout.
This is Liz Qualman's sketch this week. You can see it here: http://lizqualman.blogspot.com/
Moses (my daughter's dog) and Jake (my son's cat) were having a great time during the holidays. Jake got into every box he saw, Moses was so cold my daughter wrapped him up before he went for a walk and then passed out in the couch. They are sooo adorable. Happy Tuesday! Let's be thankful for all the blessings in our lives. The Lord is faithful!

Pine Car Derby Time!
Our Church had a Pine Car Derby last weekend and my husband Steve participated with his #17 car. He spent sooo many hours building it, adjusting the weight of the wheels and painting it.... our house was like a "craft sweatshop"! On the day of the race he wore his "flame" shirt and matching shoes!!!! (yes, can you believe they make them for adults too?). Anyhow, he won some of the races and he was very happy. I found the perfect quote for this page. Isn't it awesome to see the little boy side in our husbands??? It melts my heart....

It's a jungle!
I've making more pages for baby albums and I have been dreaming of the day I will make one for my own grandchild....(maybe my kids will read this post and start "making babies"!!!!). My cricut machine have been in hot gear the last few days.
This is the Basic Gray 6 x 6 chipboard album using its new line called Kioshi. I am teaching it tomorrow at Paper Moon. I embossed the edges in light pink. Happy Friday!
