A Saturday full of classes, laughs and love

Paper Moon is going to have a special line called "Scrapbook 911".... On Friday afternoon they asked me to come into their store to design a page for a pageant. I asked, how much time do I have? They told me "one hour". Okay...this is what I called TEAM WORK in capital letters! Autumn made the metal star, her husband Roger designed the letters and name and I did the rest. The title is so pretty! "Southern Dreams"... I hope she wins!

The morning class was Cricut 101. Here is a picture of Cindy and her sweet daughter Ava. It was the first time they played with their cricut. Pretty good for being its "first time", right?

Then in the afternoon it was a class where I taught how to make your own doilies out of paper, how to use edge punches, how to cut circles and layer them, and many more techniques.

My dear friend Liz from New York came to visit me this weekend and this is the first time in her life she crops! She had so much fun with my "prehistoric guillotine".....

As a bonus at the end of the class I taught them how to make a larger doily. Again, it was smiles and more fun.

  1. Look at all the fun! I have to say that I really miss crops but need to find one where I mesh with the people more! But anywho...
Looks like you taught a lot of good ideas, I for one just started even using border punches so I certainly haven't tried any circular doilies but I do LOVE the look!!!
And your 911 page is great..how fun to have all worked on it together!!!!

  2. That looks like a lot of fun! I really wish there were most scrapping groups/LSS's around me. There used to be a bunch, but they've all closed :(

  3. Wow, Beatriz, so much to look at. Your Southern Dreams is wonderful and even for someone who scraps as fast as you, that's awesome! Would have taken me all weekend. LOL Love your doiles. What a fun Saturday!

  4. Hey Bea, I was at TM, this weekend. I can't wait until we are together again. Are you going to do an online tutorial for those of us who weren't in the class?
