Remembering Our Friends

Good morning and happy Tuesday!

In my life, I have moved a number of times.  The most difficult part of these moves has been, of course, leaving good friends behind. That's why I love social media so much.  I'm able to keep in touch with current friends as well as reconnect with older friends

Here is a new layout and kit that I've made titled "Remember Friends".  It's perfect for photos of friends that you don't get to see as often as you might like.  I hope that you like it.

Here's a new layout and kit that I've titled "Brothers".  It's got mats for four photos plus three journalling cards tucked down into a blue jeans back pocket.  And I was able to control myself into just three little flowers.  I hope that you like it.

Mexico

Good morning and happy Wednesday!  We're in the middle of another week already. Today we're traveling back across the Atlantic and south of the border to Mexico.  Here's a layout I did recently in honor of Cinco de Mayo.

My beautiful nice Gabby turns 22 today. We celebrated it together over the weekend shopping, swimming, and sightseeing.

Cake, mariachis and of course, the sombrero were a must!

And here are Andrew and Carolina riding their favorite burrito (little donkey).

Good morning and happy Monday.  Welcome to a brand new week.  I hope that you had a great weekend. I went to St. Augustine with my sister, her daughter-in-law and daughter.  We had a lovely time.

Here is a layout that I made titled "London".  I made it after making Mary Poppins layouts.  I had extra embellishments so I thought, "Why Not?"

Fathers Day this Sunday.

Good morning and and happy Friday.  This Sunday is Fathers Day.  For those of us who still can, we need to take the time and let our fathers know how we feel about them.

Here are a couple of recent layouts honoring fathers.  This first one is titled "Best Military Dad".  This could be for my nephew who is serving in the Army in Afghanistan right now.  We will be spending this weekend with his wife and their daughter, praying that he returns to them safely.

This one is titled "#1 Dad" and it's actually still available as a kit on this blog.

Family Evening Downtime

How great is it that a family can put aside the run, run, run for one evening a week to just fellowship with each other?  If more people did this, the world would be a much stress-free and happy place.

Vacation Journey

Good morning and happy Wednesday.  I hope that your week is going well so far.

Today I am showcasing a couple of recent kits titled "Journey" and "Vacation".  Most everyone takes a vacation and goes somewhere other than just hanging around the house.

I took two of my grandkids on a mini-vacation last week.  We went to south Florida to visit my sister and also their other grandmother.  While there we went to the pool, the beach and, Andrew's favorite, the Rainforest Cafe.  Here they are leaving my sister's with their suitcases for the trip home

Homemade

Good morning and happy Tuesday!  Here is a layout and kit that I designed titled Homemade.

And here are a couple of photos that I'm going to use in mine.  This is my grand-daughter Madison making a special dinner for her Daddy.

They're making "muchacho", a typical Venezuela dish made with eye round roast.  It's one of her daddy's favorite meals since he was a little boy!

And here is my inspiration for that layout, Andrew & Carolina at a fruit stand we stopped by during our visit to South Florida.  Here they are at the orange juice stand.

And here is some of the lovely produce that they had to offer.

Andrew was so excited about the mango that he picked out to take home to his grandfather.  Little does he know that his grandfather is allergic to mangoes.

Soccer!

Good morning and happy Tuesday.  Today's layouts are about "Soccer".  Everywhere else in the world it's known as "Football", but in the U.S. it's "Soccer".

This first one is a layout that I made last week.

And here is one from three years ago.

Here are two of my grandkids at the pool with a soccer ball.  No!  They're not that small.  The ball is that big!  Andrew is adding some air to it while Carolina is not so sure about it.

Ok, she like it now and is either trying to blow some more air into it or maybe she just likes soccer so much that she's giving it a kiss!

Sports Week - Baseball Today

Good morning and happy Monday.  Last week I made a number of sports layouts by request so I thought that we would show them all this week.

Today I am showcasing baseball.  This first one is an original that I made for a customer.

And this next one is actually a kit that it for sale under the "KITS" tab from this blog.

Here are a couple of pictures of our son  Danny when he was one or two.  He had a plastic bat that he carried everywhere.  I guess baseball has always been in his blood.

We're not sure why he's batting lefty here, since he's a righty and as a pitcher he hasn't actually batted in a game since high school!
