Double pages galore.....

Happy Wednesday! Here I am again with another bunch of double-page layouts. I went to one of my favorite scrapbook stores yesterday  (A Scrap in Time) and saw Laura's layout. Laura works there and in her spare time she makes samples for the store. Well, I fell in love with it and I wanted it NOW....... so sweet Laura and Marcie put the kits together for us, and right then and there, we made them!

Peggy, Sandy and I left 3 hours later with our beautiful pages and a ton  inspiration and papers too!!!! It was another  fabulous  scrapbook day!!!

This next layout is done with October Afternoon papers and embellishments. Danny and Lexie were on the swing set at Danny's grandparent's house. This is the same swing set that Danny's dad used to play on when he was little.

I used all my scraps to make this layout. Our kids were trying to beat their dad's all-time high score on the pinball machine in their grandparents' basement. They couldn't....

Winter memories

Happy Tuesday! Here I am with more winter pages and I admit I get cold just looking at them! I used October Afternoon papers and embellishments, edge punches, and the cricut and cuttlebug (pine trees) for this one.

Valerie, Danny and Lexie were "practicing" sledding indoors. Steve's sister brought over a BIG pile of winter clothes, and of course, they had to try on these fuzzy hats. Remember we are all from the South!!!!!

The new fallen snow created  many beautiful winter scenes. I think my favorite one is the two oak leaves on the snow. It is as if they were saying to the snow  "thanks for not burying us"

Happy first Monday of 2011!

Happy Monday! Here we are with a brand new year right before our eyes.... so many plans, dreams and resolutions to be fulfilled, right? Well, mine is to be up to date with all my photos before my grand-baby gets here. You will see many two-page layouts with several pictures in them. I am running out of room for my albums so I am trying to scrap a little different.

I found this fabulous Nikki Sivils paper collection called Ellie's Day Out for these pictures. The colors are so feminine and pretty.

I used several papers and embellishments from  "Recollections Collection" for this layout.

Wow... I just love to look at my calendar and read 01/01/11. It's so cool to see so many ones together, isn't it? I am back home after a fabulous week in Disney World..I'm tired and  glad to be home, now I get a chance to rest from my vacation... (go figure!). I had a chance to scrap a lot in the evenings and also to visit fabulous scrapbook stores in the area. These are some of the pages I made.

These two pretty girls are my daughter Valerie and my daughter in law Lexie. I am so thankful they not only love each other but they get along very well and they even look alike! This is why I titled the page "Sisters in law and at heart"

These fabulous wooden hearts are from Kaiser Crafts.
