Happy Wednesday!

Good morning! I hope is all well with all of you who are going through the winter storm. We are getting lots of rain and strong winds. (I sound like the weather channel, right?). Okay... here is my layout today dedicated to my daughter Valerie and her best friends Michelle and Melanie.

I mixed and matched flowers, papers and textures.

Have a fabulous and blessed day!

My girl

Good morning! Hope you had a great and restful weekend. These pictures were taken when we were at Epcot in December.  My sweet husband rented me a wheelchair so I could last all day.  Well, every time I got up he sat down in it to rest.  He loves his "goo goo da da" even though shes's all grown up! (Valerie, I want to see if you read mom's blog).

I played this weekend with Sassafras and Heidi Swapp papers and this is what I made:

You can see more details in this picture.

This is what my partners in crime and I do after church on Sundays.....we go to Michael's and check out the $1 and $2 bins! We found these adorable hats and we had to try them on!

I found a bee, perfect for my name Bea! Do you see a page being in the making????

Love your friends and have fun with them, even if you just see them at the supermarket. Treasure every moment together, remember they are a gift from God! Have a FABULOUS and BLESSED Monday!

Circus page for my future grandbaby!

Yes..... I'm just getting the pages ready for when I take him/her to the circus!!! I used Paper Doll Dress Up, Doodlecharms, Paisley Cachemire and Animal Kingdom Cricut Cartridges to make it. It was a lot of time and work but well worth it!

I used my cuttlebug to emboss many of the pieces.

I used Martha Stewart's shredding scissors, they are so much fun!

I keep encouraging my friend Peggy to get a blog so she can share her beautiful work with all of you. She made this pretty layout using My Mind's Eye papers. The colors are so bright and cheery, love it. Way to go Peggy!

Have a fabulous and blessed weekend!

Dance the night away....

Happy Tuesday! Don't you just love paper doilies? They come in so many sizes, colors and shapes now. I made this layout using them, Prima papers and flowers, Teresa Collins embellishments and Zva  rhinestones.
We had dinner at the lovely  Bongo's Cuban restaurant owned  by Gloria  and Emilio Estefan.  When the band started playing latin music my husband asked me to dance "merengue" with him! Oh my.... I have not danced in years and years.... and even though he is "gringo"  he dances better than me!!!!! Our daughter had lots of fun with the camera too.

These crystals from Zva are the color of amethyst, they are gorgeous and they match these Prima papers beautifully.

Tomorrow I will share my adventures (classes) at the Paper Niche. Have a great and blessed day!

Happy Friday!

Happy Friday! I can't believe the weekend is already here. Here I am with more Chicago trip pictures. This layout was done with the new Kaiser Kraft Collection. The one that has flowers and leaves in the center is a transparency. I layered a lot, could not get enough of those beautiful prints!

More of my daughter! I am so glad they still let me hold them, hug them and talk "baby" to them!

And more family pictures during Christmas time..

More birthday and winter layouts!

Good morning! We are facing very cold weather lately and it has been almost as cold as it was in Chicago!
I used BoBunny Midnight Frost Collection for these pictures. I love the rich blues and the swirls.

And more birthday pictures!

Have a fabulous and blessed day!

Happy Monday!

Happy Monday! Hope you had a lovely weekend and are all rested up for a brand new week. I have a lot to share with you today.  First of all, I made this card for our first  The Pink Elephant Challenge of 2011. These adorable girls are from byLORIDesigns. I love their curly hair, they are adorable!

This is another layout from my daughter's birthday.

This next layout is about enjoying different drinks during the winter time. One is an expensive brew from a well-known coffee shop and the other is an almost free slushy made from God-given snow and orange juice.
No matter how old my kids are they never cease to amaze me!!!!

Avery is a beautiful young girl who attends our church. She has an amazing voice and passionate about singing to the Lord. Enjoy!

Double pages galore.....

Happy Wednesday! Here I am again with another bunch of double-page layouts. I went to one of my favorite scrapbook stores yesterday  (A Scrap in Time) and saw Laura's layout. Laura works there and in her spare time she makes samples for the store. Well, I fell in love with it and I wanted it NOW....... so sweet Laura and Marcie put the kits together for us, and right then and there, we made them!

Peggy, Sandy and I left 3 hours later with our beautiful pages and a ton  inspiration and papers too!!!! It was another  fabulous  scrapbook day!!!

This next layout is done with October Afternoon papers and embellishments. Danny and Lexie were on the swing set at Danny's grandparent's house. This is the same swing set that Danny's dad used to play on when he was little.

I used all my scraps to make this layout. Our kids were trying to beat their dad's all-time high score on the pinball machine in their grandparents' basement. They couldn't....

Fun with Grandpa

Good morning  everyone! Today I am sharing some more pages of  Grandpa Farquhar. More precious memories!!!!! At 86 he is full of strength and energy! He wrestled with Danny and he won (he thinks....)!

Danny gave his dad and grandpa the jerseys he wore  during the Arizona Fall League with his number on them. Right after that he was traded to another team. It meant a lot to them.

Keep warm and have a fabulous and blessed day!

Our Christmas present....

Good morning! Hope you are having a fabulous time with family and friends. My son Danny and his wife Lexie called us early morning yesterday to tell us "Merry Christmas Abuela"! Yes..... they are expecting their first baby and I am going to be grandma!!!!!! You can only imagine the joy and happiness in our family.
I will be scrapping a lot of baby pages next year for sure....

This week I am sharing with you the pages I have made from our trip to Chicago.

This restaurant's walls were filled with graffitti and everyone's name. Of course my husband and children had to leave their "footprints" there too.

Have a blessed and fabulous day!

I am back!!!

I am back to my nice and cozy South!!!! It was soooo cold in Chicago I almost froze. I truly do not know how people survive so many months under those temperatures.... and for all of you who live in the North,  come on down and visit me anytime you want to! Okay, enough about the weather... we had a fabulous family time with our kids and family. Today I've been resting and scrappin' a little and here is what I made  using the beautiful Kaisercraft English Rose line. The colors are so soft and delicate.
