Happy St. Pat's Day! & Liz Qualman's Sketch

Happy St. Patrick's Day! We are not Irish but they told me that if we do not wear green we would be pinched so we did not want any of that! I had to teach a cricut class this morning so we got to play with LT for a little while and he also wore green! he is sooooo sweet and cute!

This is  Liz Qualman's sketch for this week and you can view it here: http://lizqualman.blogspot.com. I liked it so much I did two different pages with it. I just got my kit from Paper Poppy Kit Co. and had to use it right away!!! Aphra, you sure know how to put them together! You can check them out right here and make sure you make your pre-orders soon because they sell out very fast: http://www.paperpoppykitco.blogspot.com

And this is my other version of the sketch using the paper bag my kit came in as a base. I stitched it to Jenni Bowlin's pink paper, made the flowers using scalloped punches, made a tag using the small paper bag with lace punch edge. I also used the edge of the package that Jenni Bowlin's butterflies came in, used brown netting (tulle) as "leaves" and tiny chipboard hearts between my birds on the right side of my picture. This kit brought so many cool stuff such as the wooden red circles (center of one of my flowers). And I still have so much left over! Can't wait to keep playing....
