Paper flowers using scalloped punches

This is my version of paper flowers using scalloped punches. They turn out adorable every single time and they take no time at all to make them. I usually make a bunch of them with my scraps and keep them in a box so when I put my pages or cards together they are ready to be used. Enjoy!

Step One: Punch 6  scalloped circles from the patterned paper of your choice. I used 3 different scalloped punches sizes 2", 1 1/2" and 1 ".

Step Two: Crinkle each scalloped circle until they are tightly packed.

Step Three: Unfold each scalloped circle.

Step Four: Stack each circle on top of each other, then pierce the center with a scissor...be sure to pierce all the way through the bottom of the circle stack.

Step Five: Fold each layer up tightly one layer at a time...be sure to get the first layer super-tight as seen below

Step Six: Continue adding  the layers until they look like this, putting Fast Grab Tacky Glue between each layer.

Voila! Your paper flowers are ready. Happy Monday!

  1. Cute flowers.... just like you I'm always looking for new ways to make flowers. I don't have a punch like that but I sure could use Mini-monograms... I really like these. Thanks for a great suggestion.
