"Lush", Sketch and baseball!

This layout is made with the new paper from My Mind's Eye called Lush, which  is absolutely beautiful! The black flowers and birds are velvet-like. After I made it I decided that instead of  putting them in an album I will display them individually in shadow boxes since they have lots of embellishments. I titled it "Timeless".

This week's sketch from Liz Qualman is another wonderful one.You can visit her at "My Little Sketch Blook" (http://lizqualman.blogspot.com) for more of her creations.

This is my version of her sketch. I scrapped pictures of my daughter during her Colorado vacation last summer. The big L is chipboard which I painted. The letters are Thickers.

My son did very well in his game last Sunday (3 up-3 down). My daughter Valerie wore shorts because the weather was suppose to be in the 70's (Dunedin, FL). Well, it turned out to be colder than that and later on in the afternoon she went to the car, got her dressy coat and put it on! She looked so funny... she was waiting for her brother to come out and looking like a real paparazzi! It was a beautiful Sunday, praise the Lord!

  1. Beatriz... where do I begin?! The Timeless LO is so stunning! The papers and embellishments are elegant and everything is so perfectly placed! And I love the enlarged hands on the clock... very clever!! Your sketch LO is also fabulous! Love the giant L!! Great pics of your kids too! Glad you had a great day with them!

  2. What a clever idea to use the large chipboard L instead of ribbon. What a great way to scrap your daughter's trip to my great state LOL! Love your version of the sketch and TFS.
