Donna Downey Canvas Apron and Maya Road Chipboard Suitcase

Happy Monday everyone! Hope y'all had an amazing and restful weekend.  I can't wait to share with you the projects I have been working on the last few days. These are actually the two classes I will be teaching at Paper Niche in Ft. Lauderdale on May 29. One of them is the Donna Downey Canvas Apron. Tammy and I chose the most beautiful collection of ribbons!!! The entire apron is done in beige, turquoise, pinks and browns. All the flowers are my own creation. I stamped the leaves and then embroidered them. The center is also stamped and participants will have the choice to write whatever they want. Hope you like it!

The next class will be Maya Road's chipboard suitcase and  journal. I used Webster pages, stamps, laces, etc. I also used Maya Road words from A to Z.  It will be a long class but I know everyone will learn a lot and have lots of fun. They will also have a choice of what to engrave in the front of the suitcase and their journal using Melody Ross Chip Art tools.  Here it is:

  1. Oh my goodness....how great!!!!! You are such a talented crafter dear!! So talented :)

Are you from the Ft. Lauderdale area??? I saw you said you were teaching a class there and had to ask. I live in Kansas right now, but Ft. Lauderdale is where I was raised and still go to visit there once a year or more. It's my favorite place to be :)
