My husband decided to give me the day off yesterday and created this tutorial video about the Cricut. It's the one thing in my studio that he's really drawn to. I think that it appeals to his inquisitive nature. He's always looking for new things to do with it. I really don't mind, as long as he brings it back to me in one piece!!!
Anyway, the subject of his video is the Center Point key. I know that the Cricut has this button, but I was never really sure how to use it. I think he does a really nice job in this video, but then again, I'm biased.
So take it away, Steven Spielberg ...
I'll be back tomorrow with more designs and layouts. Until then, have a great, joyful and blessed day!
Bea that was Fabulous!! Maybe you should get him his own cricut :D
ReplyDeleteSteve,
ReplyDeleteI think you've found your calling!!!
Thanks for showing the center point and for your editorial film clips! Can you please tell me what paper you prefer to use with the cricut? Some of the paper I have tried just doesnt cut clean. Thanks!

Wow! That just solved a problem I've been having with a project. I actually gave up on the project because I couldn't figure how to center everything in the circle since they all had to be the same size. Thank you so much for this!
ReplyDeleteLOL, what a video!! He just made my day!! I always want it to use the center point button, but never knew how.
ReplyDeleteThank you Steve good job!! Remember no crying!!
I think you should buy him his own Cricut for his birthday or Christmas, whicever comes first! Looks like he would use it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the center point instructions it has been so long since I have worked my machine without the Gypsy I was forgeting how!
LOL Your husband is a natural! Can he come and hang out in my studio for the next time I'm fighting with my Cricut?? I'm sure that I only know a fraction of what that machine can do. Thanks for a great tutorial! When's the next one?? Maybe a series to unleash the mysteries of the Cricut!
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome. You've got yourself some competition there. LOL. I love the little Tom Hanks addition. Too darn cute!
ReplyDeleteGreat tutorial!! I really enjoyed it! Gotta love that Center Point feature. Maybe your husband knows of other useful Cricut features that he could teach us too? :-)
ReplyDeleteOh my! My dad is amazing! He should really be on TV! TO all the scrapbookers out there.....which tv channel has programming like this. I'm calling up agents to book him.
