Boys Will Be Boys
Happy Friday! This week went sooo fast and I can't believe Easter is almost here! I got a chance to play with the new collection from Echo Park called "All About A Boy" at Treasured Memories last weekend. I made two layouts. This first one is about being tough. I used a lot of gears and buttons.
This one is about games little boys play such as sports, cars, airplanes, you name it.
I just love, love the colors!
Have a fabulous and blessed Easter weekend!

Me, a Dog Lover???
Happy Thursday! Recently I've been asked to make several doggy layouts. This first one was designed for a friend of mine and the second one for Paper Niche. I like dogs at a distance and when they belong to someone else. BUT guess what? I am stuck with Andrew's dog! He is an adorable Puggle and his name is Moses. He used to be our "baby" and he even had his own scrapbook album! Then ... Andrew came along. Now Moses is not the baby anymore and he is traded back and forth between my house and Andrew's house. When Andrew is here, Moses is over there and when Andrew is not here, Moses is at my house! Growing up in my country, dogs lived outside. I do not know about now, but in those days my dogs (German Shepherd, Indian Mastiff, Bulldog, etc., etc., etc.) all lived OUTSIDE! Moses LOVES to eat Andrew's toys and he sneaks them under the bed. He also LOVES Andrew's disgusting dirty diapers! Well, let me just stop there.... this is about "happy scrappin" after all, right?
This is our Moses. Please do not let my family know that I just vented here on my blog, shhhhhh......and if you know a dog-trainer-for-grandmas, please let me know!!!!
Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Happy Wednesday! Two New Layouts
Good morning! Hope you are all having a great week so far. I love the titles for these two layouts. Almost any pictures will go with them, right? I designed both layouts for Paper Niche the last time I was there.
I just love the wood grain paper in the first one. It actually looks like real wood in this photo!

I love these colors, so pretty and soft. And anything that uses vintage keys cannot be a bad thing.
My DH brought me some keys from work. These are not them. When people buy new door locks and have them "re-keyed" for their existing keys, the new keys that come in the box with the new lock get left behind. I asked him if they ever get any "vintage" keys. He replied, "Not since Woodrow Wilson was President."
I took Andrew to his weekly playgroup at the gym yesterday and guess what he was trying to do? The hula dance with two Hula Hoops! It was the cutest thing ever.
He even tried to climb up onto the mat with them, but eventually left them behind! Oh boy, he sure keeps me going!
Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Wonderful Spring
Good morning and happy Monday! I just spent a wonderful weekend at Treasured Memories in Lafayette, Louisiana. Lots of fun cropping, enjoying precious friends and very little sleep! My husband, Andre and my zoo are happy to have me back home.
I would like to thank everyone for all their lovely and thoughtful comments last week as we reached the milestone of one thousand posts on this blog. I have decided to go with two winners for our impromptu contest and the names we drew were ... drum roll, ... Sue and Erlinda!!! Please send me an e-mail with your mailing address so that I can send you each your prize.
Today's layouts are about Spring. I designed them for Paper Niche last month.

First Birthday Album and Banners
Good morning and Happy Friday! Thank you for leaving so many beautiful and loving comments throughout the week. I appreciate each one of them so much, they mean the world to me.
Today's post is about a project I did for a friend of mine. Her granddaughter is turning a year old at the end of the month so she wanted to make an album for the first year of the baby's life. This is the album cover. I used a wood frame, flowers and bling, all mounted to the leather album.
Here's a closeup of some of the detail.
This banner is for the baby's high chair for when they have the Cake Smash photo shoot.
This banner, which says "Happy Birthday", has over a hundred yards of different lace and ribbons.
The pennants are made out of burlap and the letters are layers of doilies and scalloped circles.
The flowers along the top edge are of burlap, too.
Thanks for joining us on the start of the 2nd 1000 posts to this blog. Have a safe, wonderful and blessed weekend. We'll see you on Monday.

1000th Post (and Counting!)
Good morning! Well, here we are on post #1000 on this blog. My very first post was just over four years ago on March 13, 2009.
I remember how nervous I was that day and I said to myself, "Who would want to see my stuff?" A few weeks later I prayed and I sensed the Lord telling me to keep on doing it. A few more weeks passed and I was getting overwhelmed by all the projects I wanted to make and to share. Then I prayed again. The Lord told me to stick to one thing; layouts. I obeyed and it has been one of the most satisfying and fulfilling things I have ever done! You see, I have had the chance to meet many of you in person, thru e-mail and facebook too. I have developed beautiful friendships all over the world. I have gone to scrapbook stores where people recognize me and say "you're Grace from the Amazing Grace blog"! (Yes, they actually think my name is Grace, so cute!). But the most precious thing is to be able to say that I am fulfilling my call; paper.
Thank you soooo much for your support, your kind words of love and encouragement and most of all, for enjoying "scrapbooking". It's the best hobby in the whole wide world!
I went back to look at that first blog. It was about a Treasured Memories Mega Crop that I had attended the previous weekend. It seems only fitting, then, that I'm at Treasured Memories this weekend for another crop, this one called "Cropping with Bea".
Here is a picture from that first post of me with Janet of Treasured Memories. My hair was much longer then and I must have been about 20 lbs lighter and about 20 years younger. Remember the immortal words of Indiana Jones, "It's not the years, honey, it's the mileage."
I do have a layout to share today. These are papers from Kaisercraft. The words "Cherish Family" are wooden blocks by Prima.

Summer is Almost Here!
Happy Wednesday! Summer is almost here so we need to get ready. I designed this layout for Paper Niche. It's for someone going on a tropical cruise and planning on bringing back some great memories as well as some great photos.
This one is for those summer fishing outings, maybe a child's first fish or them putting a worm on the hook for the first time. (Sorry for the blur in the title. There was something on my lens and I didn't notice it until we got the pictures back from the pharmacy. Remember those days!!!)

I Love Pink
Good morning and happy Tuesday! I've been using a lot of pink lately. I just love pink and black together, so elegant.
This is one of the new BoBunny Collections called Isabella. Love, love, love the colors. I dedicated this layout to my beautiful sister Andi. She is the best sister ever and one of the most loving and giving person you could ever meet.
If you did not see my post yesterday about my 1,000th post to this blog coming up on Thursday...... here it is again:
Wow.... have I
posted that many times? And the reason I do this is because of you!
Like I've always said, my passion for paper is to be shared and to be
given away.
I would like to give a prize to a random person who can leave comments this week. I just want to get to know you, especially those
who visit but I am not aware of. You can leave your comment here or on

I Love Pop Corn!
Happy Monday! Hope you had a fabulous weekend. My grandchildren celebrated St. Patty's day starting on Saturday! Andrew went to Haven Hospice St. Patty's Day Run 2013 with his parents, then went to a birthday party with his "date", baby Kate.
.
Then he finished up the day playing in his back yard.
Madison Rose went to her daddy's baseball game. She had so much fun visiting him on the field. Her daddy pitched very well and even earned a "Save" because he had the best little cheerleader in the whole world cheering him on from the bleachers!
Oh yes.... I do have a layout to share with you today.... It's about movie night! And how can you watch a movie without eating popcorn?

TGIF
Happy fabulous Friday! Both layouts today were inspired by a sketch I found on Pinterest. I liked the sketch so much I made two versions of it; one in yellow and black representing brightness and sunshine and the other in tones of blue representing the peaceful skies we've been having in North Florida this week.
These are papers from Authentique.
Have a wonderful and blessed weekend!

Tutu Queen
Happy Thursday! Here's another layout I made using Prima 's Tea Thyme Collection. I know it has nothing to do with little girls, ballet or dance but they were the perfect colors for this precious little dancer. She was made with the Cricut Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge and a lot of embellishing. Enjoy!
Have a wonderful and blessed day!

New Prima Papers
Good morning! Hope you are having a great week so far. I got a chance to play with two of the Prima collections called Almanac and Rondelle. They are almost the exact same color scheme. These are the layouts I made using both of them. I added lots of black flowers, trims, butterflies and embellishments.

School Days
Good morning! You know, when people think of "School Days", they think of that one day in September when the pencils are new & un-sharpened and the backpack has not yet been written all over with Sharpies and Wite-Out! But, you know, school lasts from September through June and there are plenty of photo opportunities during those 9 months. Here's a two-page layout with mats for three of those great photos to preserve!
And graduation is just around the corner. It's not too early to start putting album pages together for those upcoming graduation photos.
Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Blessed
Happy Monday! Hope you had a restful and wonderful weekend. Here we are, a new day and a new week ahead of us... how exciting! This is one of the many reasons one of my favorite words is BLESSED. Yes, we are blessed beyond words. I use it quiet often as a title on my layouts.
This first one is very colorful with the pinks and greens.
This first one is very colorful with the pinks and greens.
And this one is is more subtle with the yellows and black, but they both carry the same message.
And here is one of our blessings. NO, NOT THE BIG HAIRY ONE!!! The one on the left!
We took Andrew to a local farm this past week to let him feed the animals. He had never experienced anything quite as big as Penny the cow and did not know what to think.
And so he was glad when his grandpa picked him up and "saved his life".
