Good morning!  Hope you had a wonderful weekend.  I'm getting back from a get-together with "The Hive" in Dothan, Alabama.  I hope to use this week to rest up for the upcoming weekend because we'll be having out-of-town guest for the Fourth of July!

Here's a layout I made for dog lovers.  Before I had grandbabies, I had a granddoggie.   (I still love that little pooch, but I think I love the babies more.)

Summertime is here!

Good morning! Aren't you glad the weekend is here? Well, definitely we can say Summer is here because it has been soooo hot in Gainesville! The crazy thing is that we have been having thunderstorms every single afternoon for the last two weeks! It's a bummer for us because that is when I take the babies to swim, right after their nap. We might have to change them to mornings.

I am spending four days with Bea's Hive in Alabama, starting today. There's nothing like friends, and even better when they love what you love, right? We will be working with one of the new collections from Kaisercraft called Kaleidoscope. It is gorgeous! I will be posting the layouts we make on Amazing Grace Facebook page. At the Dentist

Good morning!  I recently had major oral surgery and my trips to the dentist's office (along with all of those terrific anesthetics they have) inspired me to make a couple of dentist layouts. 

 

In the past, no one ever showed up at the dentist's office with a camera, so photos of a patient in the "torture chair" were not common.  Nowadays, with cell phone cameras, nothing is off-limits!  That includes the photos my daughter took of me passed out in the chair and the videos she took on the way home with me singing and laughing and waving at all of the other cars on the road.  Fortunately, those photos and videos are locked away securely in the "family-only" vault!

Hello Kitty

Good morning!  This is the first time I actually make a Hello Kitty layout.  It brought back so many memories!  Our daughter Valerie loved Hello Kitty since she was a baby.  This layout is dedicated to her.

 

 

Her first birthday party's theme was ... you guessed it ... Hello Kitty!  We had a piñata made in my home country, Venezuela.  My parents traveled all the way to Columbus, Indiana (where we used to live) to deliver it.  We also had a matching cake, table decorations and goody bags.

 

 

In this picture Valerie is fascinated by her piñata and her Mami is trying to explain to her that it is filled with candy and toys!  (Check out how young I looked at 22).

 

 

She is ready to hit it!  Her daddy (in the back) is making sure we do not hit any of the kids around us!

 

 

Our sweet baby girl is now 33 years old and the wonderful mother of Andrew and Carolina.  It seems like it was just yesterday that she was a 1-year-old baby in my arms and now I am holding her own kids!  Life is amazing.  Never ever take a single moment for granted or get yourself too busy to enjoy it.  Thanks again for visiting my blog.  Hope your week is amazing filled with peace, joy, health and many blessings!

Good morning!  Well, another weekend just waiting for us to enjoy and to rest, right?  Today's layout looks VERY green but again, it's my camera.  It's actually in different shades of green and blue and everything blends beautifully.  The 24/7 is a piece of chipboard about 4" tall which I've had for over 10 years!  It was in one of those chipboard packages which QVC used to sell.  I have been using those pieces and I am having so much fun painting them and using all the current products.  I wish they would make them again!

Good morning! Hope you are having a great week so far.  We just learned that baby Andrew will have to have tubes put in his ears and his adenoids taken out.  The good thing about this is that he will stop getting ear infections!  The poor little guy gets them about every other week.  Please keep him in your prayers.

I had a lot of fun yesterday making these two layouts with owls.  They are soooo cute!  I love the bright colors too.  I found great paper to match them with.

Good morning!  Here are two layouts with a color combination that I like very much; black and yellow.  I used a lot of edge punches with these.  And, of course, flowers and butterflies.

Best Grandma

Happy Tuesday! Well, this is another title which I love, especially when my grandchildren send me cards addressed to The best grandma in the whole wide world!.

 

This is a beautiful frame which I helped my friend decorate for their Rehearsal Dinner. What a great idea this was! The frame is from CTMH.

Memories

Good morning!  Hope you had a fabulous weekend.  All of my layouts today have the word "Memories" in them.  I love this word because isn't that what photos are all about?  Recording those special moments that we don't want to forget.
 

We took a mini-vacation last weekend with our children and grandchildren. Here are some of those special moments that we will treasure forever!

The Sweet Life

Star Wars

Good morning and happy Monday! Can you believe I found this great paper? I had to scrap it! Star Wars has a very meaningful memory for me because it was released in my country the week of my wedding so guess where we were the second night of our marriage? At the movies watching Star Wars!!!  No... it was not romantic for me at all but my dear husband loved it! (He is still hearing about it 36 years later.)

Dolls and more dolls

Happy Friday!  I thought I'd share several of my latest layouts using stamped dolls.  I am soooo in love with them.  I have moved beyond the Prima ones and now are buying from Magnolia, Unity, and so on.  They just look so cute in the layouts and I have so much fun coloring them.

 

I even have guys to go with the dolls! Isn't he handsome?
