Happy Fall!

It's Friday again!  Did this week fly by or what? This is one of the layouts I designed for Paper Niche last time I was there.  For this one I used the new Amy Tangerine line called "Ready, Set, Go".  I made it very cutesie.

I used an Accu-cut die to make the tree. It has several layers which I inked and popped.

We are a pair of happy grandparents blessed with Andrew and Madison.  Why does it seem, however, that the pumpkins have about the same amount of wrinkles that they did 35 years ago, but that we have more???

 

This is Andrew at his first pumpkin patch . He is 9 months old.

This is Madison celebrating her second pumpkin patch at 13 months.

Fall is Falling

Good morning!  OK, who says that all Fall layouts have to use just browns & oranges?  Sometimes the browns & oranges are just too boring so here's one with the obligatory scarecrow, but also with some livelier colors! 

I don't know about you, but I think this little fellow is much happier with these colors.  What do you think?

Good morning! Hope you had a great weekend. These are the two layouts I taught at Everything Scrapbooks and Stamps. 

This first one is all about Fall. I used lots of die cuts for the large pumpkin, the leaves, the banners, the tree and the barrel. Some of the papers are from the Apple Cider Collection from BoBunny.

The next class was all about layering, embossing, painting, inking and so much more! We used the new Romance Novel Collection from Prima.

Apple Picking!

Good morning! I know that it's apple picking season somewhere in the US!  I have the best memories picking delicious apples in Upstate New York.  Now living in the South I have to settle for the ones from the supermarket. 

This is a fabulous 3-D sticker I found at Michael's.

I cut out this bucket with Cricut DoodleCharm Cartridge size 5".  I distressed it with black and brown ink and popped it up. The apples are from the new BoBunny Fall collection called Apple Cider. I cut them out individually, inked the edges and made a cluster.

We are all excited because our son Danny, his wife Lexie and baby Madison are coming to visit us for two weeks. They arrive tonight.  Have a great and blessed day!

More Fall layouts!

Good morning! As you can see, today I have more fall layouts to share. I juts love all those colors!

Here's another layout I did. I used MLYB embellishment set to bring out the blues. The tag on the lower right corner is made out of metal.

Is it Fall Yet?

Good morning!  Wow, it seems like only a couple of weeks ago (actually, it WAS a couple of weeks ago) that I took the whole week and made beach layouts.  Well, now that I got that out of my system, I am really into Fall.  Fall has always been my favorite season with all of the smells and beautiful colors and cool temperatures. I can't wait to take Andrew to his first Pumpkin Patch experience.

SOUS challenge and "Tag Art" at Treasured Memories

It's Friday and it's Stuck On Us Sketch time again. This is the page I made using a fabulous skecth you can see here.

 My class at Treasured Memories Grand Reopening weekend is today at 4:30 pm. I am so excited! These are the tags (4" x 8") they will be making.

My mother in law gave me a stack of postcards dated back to the early 1900's from her family in Iowa, she also gave me buttons, lace, ribbons, some of them older than 100 years, to use in my class. And SURPRISE SURPRISE... everyone of my students will be making one of these tags  using these vintage treasures!!!!!!

My classes at Paper Niche and TPE Card of the week

Hello! I am back and totally renewed  and refreshed after 4 days of  scrappin' at the beach. The weather was just fabulous and now I know why it is called "Emerald Coast"... the colors of the water were amazing!

I am so excited about going back to teach in Ft. Lauderdale early next month! Even though it's a long drive I enjoy it because I get to see my daughter on the way down and my sister when I get there.... it's well worth it! The class on Friday, November 5 is called  "Creating with Cricut". It's filled with techniques and ideas.

The class on Saturday, November 6 is called "Prima Art Journal Altered Book" and it's an all-day workshop.This class is filled with techniques using mixed media. The book has about 40 pages total and each page will be individually created with paints, chalks, papers, stamps and much more.
