Celebrating Independence Day

Good morning and welcome to another great week.  I hope that you had a great time celebrating our independence.

Here are a couple of patriotic layouts and kits that I made recently.  I titled the first one "Celebrate July 4th"

This next one is titled "God Bless America"

And this wouldn't be my blog without pictures of my grandchildren.  This first one is of patriotic Andrew and Carolina celebrating the 4th at their grandfather's beach house.

And here's my precious Madison Rose celebrating the 4th in Seattle.

Thanks for the visit today.  Have a wonderful and blessed day.  See you again tomorrow!

The Greatest Generation

Good morning and happy Thurdday!  As we celebrate Independence Day this weekend, let's remember that it's not just about the picnics or the fireworks.  Take some time to remember those who have fought to defend our great nation.

Here is a new layout which I titled "My Dad My Hero".  It's for those very special people who went off to fight in World War II which ended 70 years ago.  One of those very special people is my father-in-law.  He was in the Navy during the war.  After the war, he got busy working hard and raising a family (which includes my DH)  His pictures will go in my copy of this layout.

Thanks for visiting my blog today.  Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Sisters

Good morning and happy Wednesday!  Also, welcome to July which means that 2015 is already half over.

Here is a new layout and kit that I designed titled "Sisters".  One thing you will notice about this layout is that three of the photo mats are "off kilter".  The first definition of the phrase "off kilter" is "not aligned or balanced".  The second definition is "
unconventional or eccentric".  That would pretty much describe my sister and me.
I love my sister very much, but don't get to see her as often as I would like.  I hope that you like this layout.

thanks for coming to my blog today.  Have a wonderful and blessed day and I look forward to your visit tomorrow!
