Sew Sweet

Good morning and happy new week.  I hope that you had a wonderful weekend and are all rested up for this week.

One thing I never learned to do was to sew.  The extent of my sewing skills is to sew a zig-zag stitch onto paper that I'm going to use on a scrapbook page.  Nonetheless, I found these papers that I really like and bought them.  I love the embellishments, too.  Especially the wood spools!

Thanks for visiting my blog today.  Have a wonderful and blessed day!

My Little Artist

Happy Friday! Another week has come and gone.  This one flew by!

As you know, I look after my 3-year-old Carolina everyday. And every single day is an adventure with her!  Yesterday she was dressed up as Rapunzel, but said that she was Peppa Pig.  She spent the first part of her morning imitating a worm!  She put a blanket on the floor and moved around like a caterpillar saying "I'm a worm. I have to keep moving."  Go figure.....

Well, about 10 am she decided that she needed to help me "work" in my studio. When she ran out of paper, she used her arms.  She sure had fun and I am so used to these visits that I do not panic any more!
Here she is preparing to make a hand-print in one of her notebooks.

And here is the perfect layout for these pictures of course.
Thank you for stopping by! Have a fabulous, fun, safe and blessed weekend!

Marching into March

Good morning and happy March! I have some exciting news.... I will be teaching Bible journalling class on a monthly basis at Cootie Coo Creations, a local crafting store just north of here in High Springs, FL.  The workshop will begin with a short devotion, followed by a meditation on Matthew 4:18-22 for the first gathering. After the meditation, participants will have the opportunity to journal in their Bibles and be taught numerous techniques with which to do this. Here's a picture of  one of the projects in my Bible that we will be doing.

I have been sooo inspired by our first Faith Day at Treasured Memories in Lafayette next week and also about this class that I have been designing Faith Kits for this month. I will be posting them in about 2 weeks.
Have a wonderful and blessed day!
