I did my first challenge for Serenity created with Christine. Her challenge is to create a card using some kind of embellishment I purchased over a month ago but have yet to use. My creation must be a card that measures 6 X 6 and I need to describe what this "must have" item was and why I "NEEDED" to have it. She will be giving away a small gift as a token of her appreciation. Stop by and submit yours!
I made this card using Webster papers. I bought a lot of them! I thought I was going to use them all for my son's wedding pictures but I got a little bored after a while. Now I have soooo much left over! I think I will make many, many more cards!
My bird is breaking free from the cage and the scripture verse is John 8:32 which says: "Then you shall know the truth and the Truth shall set you free". I must give credit to Roger (owner of Paper Moon). I was playing one day with my Tim Holtz dies and he came up with this idea. This card was perfect for this!
