First Birthday Album and Banners

Good morning and Happy Friday! Thank you for leaving so many beautiful and loving comments throughout the week. I appreciate each one of them so much, they mean the world to me.

Today's post is about a project I did for a friend of mine. Her granddaughter is turning a year old at the end of the month so she wanted to make an album for the first year of the baby's life. This is the album cover.  I used a wood frame, flowers and bling, all mounted to the leather album.

Here's a closeup of some of the detail.

This banner is for the baby's high chair for when they have the Cake Smash photo shoot.

This banner, which says "Happy Birthday", has over a hundred  yards of different lace and ribbons.

The pennants are made out of burlap and the letters are layers of doilies and scalloped circles.

The flowers along the top edge are of burlap, too.

Thanks for joining us on the start of the 2nd 1000 posts to this blog.  Have a safe, wonderful and blessed weekend.  We'll see you on Monday.

  8. I love these 3!! Your designs are all sooooo beautiful. I love them all. I have no favorite. You should send your ideas and designs to various companies. You really are a gem and could be a very wonderful asset to a scrapbooking company. You may even one day have your own line!!! God bless you!!!
