Good morning and happy Tuesday! You know, it's interesting that some of the same books that my husband enjoyed as a child are amongst the favorites of our grandchildren. High on that list are many of the Dr. Seuss books like The Cat in the Hat and One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish.
Another of my husbands all time favorites was Go, Dog. Go! by P.D. Eastman. It's become one Andrew's and Carolina's, as well. This past weekend we were in Disney and took a picture of the two sitting at a table. That night while they were being read a bedtime story (Go, Dog. Go!, of course) Andrew commented that "Three dogs at a party, on a boat at night." was just like the picture from earlier. How true!!! They even had lollipops! Life imitates art, does it not?
