Friday already?

Good morning! My dear SUPER talented friend Pam from The Bug Bytes made this sketch! How did I discover it? Well, on Tuesday we finally met face-to-face thru the marvelous way of technology called Skype. We talked for almost two hours and we got to share our love for crafts, family and cricut. This is her sketch:

As you can see, I converted it into a two-page layout. These photos are from last Fall. My friends and I were goofing (as always!) at Michael's.

I made these tags using small pieces of cardboard and love how they turned out.

I am traveling for a few days. My daughter and I are hosting my daughter in law's baby shower in Jacksonville, Fl this weekend and then I am heading to Ft. Lauderdale for a week. I will be teaching at Paper Niche throughout the week. Have a blessed and fabulous weekend!

Bright, bright colors ahead....

Good morning! Hope is all well with you and you are having a  great week. I was playing with papers which I've had for a while but did not want to use because they are soooo pretty. Well, I did,  I cut them all up and this is what I made. The pocket has 6 tags all embellished and stamped. I keep a basket  under my desk with my FAVORITE papers... I call it "the untouchables". Am I a hoarder or a paper addict?

I think it is my first time ever I scrap the color purple, can you believe that?  I fell in love with these papers  and voila! here it is...

Mixed media craze.....

Good morning! Did I tell you I am falling into a "new" passion?????  This layout started off with scrapbook papers and it has about 8 layers of paints, stamps, papers, rubbons, stickers, doodling,  etc, etc, etc!!!!

You can see the hearts made with modeling paste.

This plant is actually a stamp on  vellum  integrated into the layers and finally colored with oil pastels!.

Here is another layout using similar techniques. The dolls are inspired by She Art. I’ve been taking a She Art class with Christy Tomlinson and  I love her, she’s so cute and her online class is great. I really got hooked with so many fun ideas and my creative juices are on a roll!!!!!

Have a fabulous and blessed day filled with the joy of the Lord!
