Happy Thursday!

Good morning! Hope you all are doing well and are enjoying the end of another summer season.  Me, I sometimes feel a little (just a little) envious this time of year when I see mothers getting their children ready for school because both of our children are "up and out".

I realize that this is another season in my life.  We are about to have our first two grand-babies 4 months apart from our two kids!  I have not been around babies for many, many years.  Lately, I have had the blessing to hold Mary Kate (my friend Karen's baby) so I guess that counts as practice, doesn't it?

This is our daughter Valerie half way through her pregnancy at 20 weeks. She is having baby Andrew at the end of December.  She is so happy that her tummy is starting to grow and show.  By the time I was 5 months pregnant with her I  had gained over 30 lbs!  She has gained only 10 lbs so far.

This is the bedding set they chose for Andrew's room.

One of the things that have captured my heart the most is what God has to say about those unborn babies:

Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. Psalm 127:3
Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you. Jeremiah 1:5

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. Psalm 139:13-16
Wow...... The Creator of heaven and earth, God Almighty  has blessed them with babies. My heart is filled with thanksgiving and praise! I just can't wait to hold them and tell them how much I love them.

Thank you always for visiting my blog, it means the world to me. Have a great and blessed day!
