Good morning and happy Thursday. Today's layout is dedicated to the self-taken photo or "selfie", where the photographer actually gets to be in the picture. The die-cut cameras and film strips were cut on the Cameo Silhouette and the View Master reels were cut out with a Tim Holtz Sizzix die.
Most "selfies" are of one or two people, taken at arms length with a cell phone and passed around on social media. Here's a way to print them out and share them in a scrap book.
Here is some "selfie" trivia, courtesy of my DH. The first known "selfie" was taken in 1839 in the early days of photography. In those days it took a long time to take a photo so this fellow was able to uncover the lens, wait for the glass plate to be exposed and then cover the lens.
And this "triple-selfie" by Norman Rockwell from 1960 was done with paint.
Thanks for visiting my blog today and I hope that you are inspired to make some of yoou own!. Have a wonderful and blessed day.
Very cute layout. Than k you for the informative info on selfie.
