Do you have tons of chipboard? I must admit I DO..... so today I decided to "get my hands dirty". I made several embellishments and this is how I did them:
Step 1:
Emboss chipboard pieces in the cuttlebug. (I used different templates).
Step 2:
Paint them with acrylic paint.(They dry very fast). I also sprayed some of my pieces with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist.
Step 3:
Brush Transparent Glass Beads (Liquitex). Let them dry.
Step 4:
Brush Crystal Clear Glaze (Krylon). Let them dry.
Step 5:
Distress with any ink you have available. (This gives them more textured and shows the embossing in your piece).
Step 6:
Embellish wiht metal wire, rhinestones, etc., if you wish.
And VOILA! they are ready for your pages
Very nice, another something I never thought of!!! that is beautiful! Thanks for the great idea and instructions.
