I fell in love with Liz Qualman's sketches!!!(Check them out for yourself at: http://lizqualman.blogspot.com). This is my second one in a week. What I like the most about her work is the way she uses large shapes as a base and it does not take attention from the photograph or title. I scrapped my husband's funny pictures the day he bought a suit. I found the balance with subtle pinks and natural colors to make it more masculine (this way he won't kill me....). I crimped all the letters, the flowers and the base heart. All the embellishments are the ones I made yesterday. The base scalloped hearts are from Cricut Sweethearts Amoureux Cartridge. I stamped the swirls. Happy Valentine's Day!
Beatriz! I love this one!!!! I may have to copy it, shape for shape, lol. I love the colors and dimension.....and now I may have to get myself a crimper too. Never saw enough need for one but boy does it add a lot to the titles!

ReplyDeleteI saw this layout over on the Cricut MB. Love all the crimping. I have a few crimpers and they have been stored away. After looking at and admiring your layout, I will have to use them. Love your layout! Love all the embellishments you made.
